My husband wrote a review below about a month or so ago. Complaining of our square pizza missing a middle slice, and even worse our daughter found a rubber band like material inside the cheese of one of our pizzas we ordered for an event. Well pizza Huts General Managers attempt to "rectify" the situation was provide a nice size credit to our acct with Pizza Hut, but could only be used at this location. My husband agreed, and was aware only the manager on duty was able to mark off the order as a credit. We were not aware the manager tonight wouldn't make himself available to us upon ordering.
We waited for over an hour, and were told the manager was too busy to handle our order, and to come back AFTER 8 for our DINNER order. Despite the manager coming up several times to correct other customer(s) order(s). As quickly has he came upfront, he disappeared again before we could speak to him.
I believe we/my husband has been more than patient with this location/company. Especially not sharing with the 12 customers left waiting before, and after we left (empty handed) the reason why we had to wait for a manager in the first place.
We are very dissatisfied with how our family has been treated. Also, overheard the staff very loudly for all to hear "we're not picking up phones tonight." Directed to their fellow associates. A manager/team lead needs to be efficient at multitasking, and a good example of customer service which this one clearly is not, and the entire staff as a whole needs better training.
We will not be coming back after this 2nd horrible experience. Definitely falls short of any Pizza Hut customer service we've ever experienced before, and makes us think twice about attempting to order with any Pizza Hut...
Read moreI ordered a pizza, a drink, and boneless wings yesterday, on Super Bowl day. I knew it was going to be busy, and I was willing to wait for my order... but 5 f'ing hours to receive nothing? First, I waited 3 hours for my order, and it turns out they gave it to someone else accidentally. Okay, easy fix, just make me a new order next batch once you are done with your current one. Turns out that can't be done? So they put a new order at the back of the queue and they tell me that they don't know how long it will take for my order to be ready. I wait an extra 2 hours, I ask if my order will come up soon, they then tell me that they are 3 hours backed up on orders and that I should cancel my order. Okay, I want to cancel my order and I want a refund... they can't give me a refund either, apparently, so my only option to get my money back is a chargeback on my card? Seriously? Tonight I ordered a pizza and breadsticks at 6:20pm, it said it would take about 45 minutes. at 7:45, I got fed up and called the store to ask where my order was - I was told to give my driver a discount code and that he should be there shortly. 20 minutes later, the driver still wasn't here, so I called the store again. A manager answered who you could tell hates his job, I told him my dilemma and asked him to cancel my order. I mentioned that I think it' absurd that I waited almost two hours for my order and he says "Oh, it just got on the road". After TWO HOURS!? It had JUST left the restaurant? I told him I didn't think it was acceptable and he said "okay?". I then told him that as a manager, he should probably care a little more when he has upset customers. He then proceeded to ask me "So what do you want?" and I told him to just cancel my order. In the time it took me to write this (approximately 3 minutes), Domino's is already on their way.
