Firehouse Subs Beaufort — Restaurant in Beaufort

When we walk into a customer friendly establishment you should be greeted with a pleasant good afternoon. There were three employees behind the counter and not one acknowledged our presence. Upon placing our order, I asked the employee who was taking the order how she was; her answer "good". Well, I would have said my day was good as well if in fact she reciprocated. I ordered one of their salads with protein and gave her my name for the order we were handed two cups for soft drinks. We noticed that the floor near the soda machine was wet with a yellow wet floor sign near it then I looked up to see a ceiling tile open, so they must have had a leak. We sat at a table near a window and waited briefly for our meals. An employee who prepared our meals called out my name and as I went up to the counter, she handed me my salad but no dressing. I asked where my dressing was and she said, "what was it?" I am not sure what was not communicated from the time I ordered to the employee who prepared my salad, but I had to repeat what I had previously ordered for the dressing. We had to walk out due to an employee decided to start mopping the area where we were sitting and the smell from the dirty water was not appealing and frankly disgusting to smell and look at. They lack any customer service. They should not mop near patrons who are still eating. We will never come back to this sandwich...

This was my first time ordering online. I had a code for a free Hook and Ladder with any purchase. The options to "customize" were super basic online. They give you 3 options for amounts yet they have so many other subs to choose from but they won't let you swap out the cheese or sauce or veggies. It's that or nothing. Weird!! Anyways.. when i placed the order it was scheduled for a certain timeframe. I go to the restaurant to get it and they are so understaffed the lady behind the counter is rushing trying to fill as many online orders as fast as she can. I can tell she is very tense and very focused. I am able to ask her if she has filled my order, she snips at me a bit, but i tell her no i am not trying to rush you i just wanted to know if you had another sauce instead of the one I ordered. The food is so heavily delicious . they are not cheap with their servings. You walk away wanting more, the next time you visit , get the brisket and bbq sauce is sweeet !

warning this place is addicting and habit forming! They have fountain and bottled bubblies. Kid friendly too. Close to highway. so hold their hands . The use of spices are shaken on as you request them they even have outside dining I am not sure if they have a restroom so be prepared by going prior to leaving your house ‘cause you can’t put out the fire there ! the drinks are self serve they have a gorgeous view of the bay if it’s you birthday day they give you a dis punt and they take donations that are locally used. try the chocolate chip cookies they are moist and soft.
