The LEMONADE didnt taste like LEMONADE😢 nor Did the COLOR 😱LOOK YELLOW like lemonade. The color of lemonade was😪 ORANGE. As for the supposely FRIED SHRIMP 😭, the Fried shrimp was BUTTERFLY SHRIMP 😭👎😪which was 😣😤OVER FRIED TO HARD👎😪👎😭👎. Also Taste like straight CORN MEAL😭😪👎. I was extremely.DISAPPOINTED 👎👎especially in how the shrimp was SUPPOSE to Be FRIED SHRIMP not FLAT BUTTERFLY 😭👎😪👎HARD SHRIMP😭👎😢👎THAT TASTE LIKE CORN MEAL FLAT SHRIMP👎👎. Imagine eating at KEVIN RICO SEAFOOD👍 RESTAURANT or PAPPADEAUXS😀, Or SALT GRASS 😀RESTAURANT. Than you may only Imagine what FRIED SHRIMP looks like. Also the SWEET&SOUR Sauce was Cold👎👎. The SWEET & SOUR SAUCE was NOT HOT😢😤👎👎 at all. I wasnt sure how LONG Or How MANY DAYS the SWEET& SOUR SAUCE 👎😭👎😤 WAS SITTING ON THE TABLE. Great China is hands down the most consistently good Chinese restaurant in Beaumont — truly the go-to spot when you’re craving quality and flavor. Looks like a regular family restaurant on the outside but very lovely on the inside. The food is fantastic and the lighting is great. I gave it one less star because the waitress was very rude. When she set our table she practically dropped our plates in front of us which splashed sauce on my husbands shirt. We are usually very calm people and we would’ve understood if it was an honest mistake, however, she deliberately tossed everything in front of us. It would not be fair for me to rate it any less because of one person’s behavior. After my husband dismissed the “accident”, we noticed the superb service she gave towards the Caucasian customers. Considering that we were the only people of color there, we finally decided to leave. I just cannot stomach prejudice/racism on any level. Despite all this, the food is wonderful, but I will not continue to spend money at a place that allows...
