My experiences at the Taco Bell on College Street in Beaumont have consistently left much to be desired. It's evident that this location requires significant attention from upper management to address various shortcomings in operational procedures and guest satisfaction.
One of the most glaring issues is the apparent lack of readiness among the staff to fulfill their duties effectively. During each visit, I've encountered team members who seemed unprepared, contributing to consistently poor experiences.
Despite giving this location multiple chances, I've yet to have a satisfactory visit. It's clear that the team needs proper coaching to align with the expectations of their roles, as the current performance falls short.
One particular frustration is the inexplicable practice of asking customers to pull forward in the drive-through lane to the front of the building, even when there's no one behind them. This unnecessary inconvenience adds to the frustration of an already disappointing experience.
Furthermore, the consistent unavailability of essential ingredients for my orders is unacceptable. It's frustrating to visit a restaurant only to find key components missing from menu items.
Additionally, it's concerning to observe that the entire staff appears to consist of young adults aged 18-25, who seem to lack adequate supervision. This contributes to the overall lack of attention to detail and inconsistency in service.
A recurring issue is the absence of attention to detail, especially regarding order modifications. Despite clearly indicating my preferences, my orders have frequently been incorrect, highlighting a pattern of oversight and negligence.
To add to the list of disappointments, during my recent visit, the drive-through sign lights and screen were off despite the location being open. This lack of basic operational awareness further reflects the need for improvement.
In summary, the Taco Bell on College Street in Beaumont requires urgent intervention from upper management to rectify operational deficiencies and enhance the overall guest experience. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this...
Read moreIt took nearly 23 minutes to wait on two burrito Supremes with extra cheese, extra beans and onions to go. There are three people working behind the counter two guys making all the food and one of the other person taking orders at drive through. They were more concerned about the drive-through orders than the people sitting in the lobby waiting on their food. I won't be coming back to that location on College by Dairy Queen. I just barely was able to catch my bus to get my connection downtown to come hone. Otherwise I would have had to walk 5.4 miles home, with a numbed right leg... Desert Storm combat injury. The DT woman did I apologize for the wait. And I do understand about people being on break. But there was a large order in the Drive-Thru, I felt like wow she'd rather stay on break instead of helping out her fellow teammate workers to get a large order out and help make food for the people in the dining room. God forbid a person to come off her scheduled break to help get out of big order and then go back to her break
I guess the days of going over and Beyond the Call of Duty is a thing of the past. Instead of working just to do the minimum to get by and to...
Read moreIf I could give it no stars I would but since I can't I'm giving it one star. I walked in there was a young man at the register and about six other people just standing around the young man of the register took my order. He just seemed kind of frustrated with whatever was going on. I got sick with the food. There were two homeless men that wanted to use the restroom and they told him that they couldn't because they had to be customers. They were asking the customers for money or food. I got called out my name. I was a customer and they wouldn't let me use the restroom to wash my hands before eating. The good thing is that I always carry wipes with me, just in case. In my 64 years I had never been to a Taco Bell being that I had heard bad things about it. But I thought how bad could it be? Guess what. It was bad. Ended up with food poisoning. Sick as hell. Never again. At the bottom it asks what foods would I recommend... Well, I wouldn't recommend...
