A Cute Shop, but the Quality of the Chocolate Missed the Mark

The environment of this chocolate shop is fantastic—adorable, clean, and inviting. The lady working was very friendly and accommodating, even going out of her way to prepare fresh chocolate-covered strawberries for the customers in front of me. I thought that was such a great touch!

Unfortunately, my experience with the treats I purchased wasn’t as positive. I tried the chocolate-covered marshmallow stick, which was hard (understandable since it may have been sitting for a while) but tasted like it was covered in something closer to sawdust than graham cracker crumbs. The chocolate-covered Oreos, which looked fresh behind the display case, tasted old and stale—so much so that I couldn’t eat them. Lastly, the chocolate-covered pretzel had great chocolate, but the pretzel itself was stale and disappointing.

I was really looking forward to indulging in some delicious treats (especially while pregnant!), so it was disappointing to have this experience. However, I will say the customers eating their chocolate-covered strawberries in-store seemed to enjoy them, so maybe that’s the best...

Chris and his team do an excellent job of providing high end Chocolates and candies. Not only high end, there is a taste for everyone. This ISNT just sweets. Chris is able to orchestrate the proper taste and atmosphere for any event or season. When you approach the store in Beaver Falls or store in the mall, you are not alone in your selection. The team is able to help coordinate a taste and or theme for any event or situation. We have used Sinful Sweets for large events to just popping in for a quick taste of what's new.
