Food: Pretty tasty, but a little pricey for what you get. Not too bad though.. It does have a decent selection of house created entrees and the food is always cooked thoroughly and good. They have a kids menu, and a designated gluten free fryer, which is so convenient and relieving as my daughter is celiac and my wife is allergic to pepper/s. It makes explaining our situation a lot easier. They can accommodate our dining needs. Beer is good.. However, I did order the liquor milkshake which I'm certain had no alcohol in it and they charged me for it. No bueno! I could not take it back though as I was already on my way back to work from my lunch break 😶😁..
Service: Staff is very friendly and helpful for the most part. They suggested and recommended items when asked and have great attitudes.
Atmosphere: Atmosphere is nice. It's a little small, leaving you feeling cramped at times. Especially when it gets busy, which sometimes it does. The ordering line will protrude right through the tables resulting in people right on top of you while you are trying to enjoy your delicious Joe's Burger. They serve alcohol, have TV's that show sports and have outside dining. +++. Easy access to surrounding businesses and establishments. You can tackle five errands without even moving your vehicle. Gym, bank, grocery store, gasoline, nails, taxes etc.. Overall...
Read moreThis location of Joe’s Burgers is the worst of their locations. Firstly, the burgers they serve are bland and unremarkable. What’s more, they are thin, as in the style of possibly smash burgers but without the bark, juices and flavors. Needless to say, we were underwhelmed.
In terms of sides, I’d deter you from trying their “Joe’s Jo’s.” Like their burgers, their jojos (potato wedges) were bland and dry. Save yourself the disappointment and walk over to the Safeway nearby for higher quality, better spiced and breaded ones.
Also, their tots...just stay away. They were rock hard and had no enjoyable element of taste. No amount of sauce or ketchup could make them palatable.
Finally, their customer service was subpar. I had an issue with my online order. Instead of helping me address it and fix the problem, the cashier downplayed it and put the problem right back on me. Way to provide excellent customer service. Not like we’re in a pandemic and restaurants have been hurting or anything. Anyhow, due to this, I recommend going to their Bridgeport location. Way nicer people who actually care how they serve...
Read moreI’ve lived in this area for over 16 years and this is the first time entered Joes Burgers on Murrayhill. Ordering was easy and was told it would about 10 minutes or so. It was quite cold inside so, I stepped outside for about five and went back in. Noticing they about eight paper tray up on the counter with French fries and onion rings in them , figured my order would be long. So, I stood there for almost twenty minutes as they started put orders together. Mind you the fries and onion rings have been in the boxes already !! As they handing out people’s orders , I’m thinking is slow service because , they had six people working. Finally get my order and as I was leaving , another customer said , boy are they slow !! Got home , opened the boxes, ready to eat. The onions were burnt and grease soaked from sitting so long and my burger had about a two inch piece of the bacon that wasn’t cooked !! Very disappointed, needless to say. Carla Jr would have been a better choice !! I gave two stars because of the location. Will never go back!! How they made it all the stuff going this last year plus...
