Nightmare Experience while on vacation with my family! There were 11 of us. We are used to what our meals should cost. They charged me $1320!!!!!! They ran my card for $165 - EIGHT TIMES!!!! Which effectively locked up my account with pending charges and they did nothing to release them! The manager just said "OH. We're sorry. The charges should drop off in 48 hours." (They did NOT! I had to call my bank and file a dispute to get the charges released!)
Food: Several of our meals had still not been delivered to our table by the time the other meals were completely finished. Our nachos had chunks of potatoes that were apparently dropped into them and ignored. The Prime Rib Benny Breakfast was disgusting. First, the meat tasted like liver and onions. Second, the bed of cheesy potato cakes was chopped up hashbrowns thrown on top. Several people ordered chicken fingers. Many if them were burnt to the point of being inedible. We were offered half off of the two meals that never arrived. Although, they ended up being thrown away completely because we still had 5 hours to travel to our destination.
Staff: When we arrived, we heard the waitresses arguing about tables and not taking care of customers. It was quite clear there was tension amongst the staff. Our waitress, however, was not the worst. She did her best. As I said, we do have a large family so we are used to things taking longer and used to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Denny's in Bedford, PA on Thursday April 14th, and I was VERY disappointed! The atmosphere was very dark, dingy and worn out, almost as if it wasn't updated or cleaned in 25 years. Not only this, but it seems like every time I went to this location, there is at least ONE crying infant! However, that pales in comparison to the "Food".
Oh my goodness! The food was abysmal! I ordered a Double Cheeseburger and Wavy Fries and it came out soggy and undercooked! The beef patties were a nauseating gray color and there was NO flavor to be found! Combined with the disgustingly soggy bun and the lack of ANY seasoning, I just could not finish it! The fries were overcooked and also lacking in seasoning, but marginally better than the awful mess of a sandwich they came with!
There is one positive thing I will say. The waiter was a pleasant young man and he at least remembered to remove the onions and pickles from my "burger" when I asked him to. I wish the cashier would've done more than just say "Sorry about that" when I told her about my experience. That's $15 I'll never get back!
Overall, this Denny's location is a total Disaster! I strongly recommend AVOIDING it, especially when it's surrounded by FAR better options, such as Route 220 Diner, Pizza Hut, Hoss's Steak and Sea House, and Wendy's! Save your money and go to one of those four instead of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSoooo I ordered two skillets online The spicy skillet and the bourbon skillet with egg and extra broccoli.. Both with extra onions and peppers... To go Get to the restaurant to get my food. Sign the credit slip. I over hear the manager say to another worker we need to change the charge slip and add $3.15 to it for the extra onions peppers and broccoli. I say to the manager just open a new ticket I'll pay for the broccoli since there was no room for it online. Manger does so. When she comes back and explain to me why it was $3.15... you weren't charged for the extra onions or peppers or broccoli for one of the skillets I'm like that a corporate issue. Whom ever is responsible for the website needs to address your issues. So she didn't charge me for the website issue.
I get back to my hotel open the containers and my eggs are missing for BOTH skillets. I called several times couldn't get through... finally got through. Talked to the manager... She offered to bring the eggs to hotel... which she did... and a peice of cheesecake as a way of apologizing for this incomplete order mishap! The manager went above the call and is...
