Normally I wouldn’t review a singular bad experience like this. Been here multiple times during the day, when there are more than highschoolers scheduled and had a fine experience.
I went with a friend last night at 7:30pm. After walking in, we were both ignored for at least five minutes by every staff member while waiting to order meanwhile they are all goofing off directly in front of us. My sandwich I like isn’t available on the kiosk so I kept trying to get someone’s attention but they would look at me, not even acknowledge or say “hey, just a minute!” Nothing.
Then, another man came in and a girl walked right over to him to take his order, to which I pointed out we had been waiting without so much as a word for awhile. If I’m paying $10+ for a sub-par sandwich I expect service to be at least minimum, not even a smile from anyone. Instead, the staff was all just goofing around in front of us, nobody on the line was doing anything but talking to each other, and that one poor girl seemed like she was doing every job.
I know the evening shifts are filled with high schoolers but a manager should have been there to actually manage the team because clearly this staff is incapable of being trusted to do their jobs. And I know a lot about this place as I used to work in this exact location, I’ve never had a bad experience here since leaving years back until the last couple times.
Oh, also just a small side note- I didn’t get my pickle with my sandwich even after requesting 2. Extremely disappointed. If a manager wants to talk to me, you are more...
Read moreAs a long time customer, I have slowly watched this company turn to garbage in less than a year. For years my husband and I would frequent Panera several times a week. In the beginning of this year we began to see a decline in food quality, causing us to dine less and less. One morning, my husband brought home our usual favorite breakfast sandwiches. My first bite resulted in raw egg dripping down my hands and into my lap. Disgusted, I threw out my entire breakfast. Now a few months later, we decide to try it again. While giving my order, I explain to the cashier I am pregnant and cannot have undercooked eggs. She said “well I don’t think they can do that but we’ll see”. After waiting 15 minutes for our sandwiches, I approach the counter to see what’s taking so long. I see the two sandwiches, just sitting on the counter. A gentleman says “sorry I didn’t think we could do that anymore” and hastily handed over the sandwiches. I cut into my sandwich and wasn’t even surprised to find yet another oozing, uncooked egg. Its not like I made some crazy request, I simply wanted the sandwich to be cooked as it was FOR YEARS. Needless to say, we will no longer being customers, and we will be telling everyone we know. I guarantee this company will be bankrupt...
Read moreIf I could give this zero stars if that was an option. Years ago, this was a great place to come and run by an amazing manager. However not anymore.
So I come in at twelve only to meet a friend, otherwise I wouldn't step place in this disgusting restaurant again (and how I judged, that was because ninety percent of the tables weren't cleaned off after the last person left). And at noontime, it wasn't busy, and there were plenty of people just hanging out doing nothing
I tried t try to order an asiago bagel but of course, they have none, and their baker doesn't come in until two p m. Now, why would you think that was OK?
Wouldn't you think you would have the baker who is also in training and doesn't know much about bagels., I'm told, come in early in the morning and since that's their most popular bagel, make more of them???
Whoever is managing should be ashamed to even keep the doors open.
I would rather go to the popular coffee place down the street or save my pennies and go to the really popular place down the street or make coffee at home and buy a bag of bagels had to be better than wasting gas and time...
