I would have gave a 0 if possible. We just picked up 8 tacos that we ordered 5 minutes ago. These tacos were soggy and cold and not fit for human consumption. They were falling apart. I immediately called and the man Samuel was very rude and full of lies saying we said we came from far away. That was never said! We were there in 5 minutes. He hung up on me twice, refused to give me his name which I found on the receipt and refused to right the wrong. He also refused to let me speak to a manager. Rita's lost a long time customer because we will never eat there again! Do yourself a favor, eat elsewhere. * Review Edit *. I am editing my review due to the owners response. I have proof ( my receipt and my call logs) and the receipt clearly shows that my order was placed at 1:36pm and was picked up at 1:49 pm. That is 13 minutes, not 45. I will be bringing the receipt to Rita's. I would upload a picture or 2 but there is no option. I can't wait to hear the excuse of why the tacos were soggy and cold and dripping with grease, because it had nothing to do with the time it took me to get there ( 13 minutes). The right thing to have done is, apologize and offer to remake the tacos but Rita's chose to fabricate their own version of the way things played out staring that the order was paid for at 2:21pm. Rita's closes at 2:00. Also, the order time and the time the order is paid for, they are on the same receipt! That's not a mistake, that's intentional deception to put it nicely! Now, that's sad! My review stands, it doesn't matter if you have to go orders or not, the waitress standing there could have grabbed the plates sitting there getting cold.. I'd hate to see if this place was busy..) The food was okay, red Chile good, and I'm picky about my red Chile but it was good, the only issue I had was the service, the restaurant was not busy at all, two waitresses, one seated us, another took our order, but from where we were seated I heard the bell for our order go off 3 times, and I knew it was our order, we were the only customers, so I decided to walk up and check, sure enough there's our order, sitting there getting cold, while one waitress is just standing there looking through tickets, the other one on the phone, I said, "that's our order sitting there getting cold, I've heard the bell ring 3 times", as far as I'm concerned, the sitting customer takes first place over phone orders, or counting tickets, or to go, especially if our order is sitting there, if you have seated customers and their food is sitting there, you tell the phone customer to hold please.
