Teriyaki Grill & phở's Le — Restaurant in Belen

I love the food! I’ve been eating here for years. The teriyaki chicken bowl is the best. The beef soup is also amazing! I have never had a bad experience here, and I’ve ordered dozens of times. Most restaurants never get my order 100% right, but Pho Le’s ALWAYS gets my order right, which is surprising because there is a communication barrier, with the employees speaking limited English. Being born and raised in Belen, I know that most small businesses here fail, especially if not owned by a Tabet or similar family monopolizing the area, or a huge franchise. ROACHES FLYS AND MORE ROACHES .. the pho was amazing and I pray to God im ok but the roaches wer even more amazing.. absolutely everywhere I've never seen this many roaches in the day time .. the little old ladies running the place seemed so sweet I didn't have the heart to just turn tail and run .. the food was amazing but somebody needs to get in there and do some major cleaning.. but hey, u live u learn .. like today I learned that the town of Belen has no health department.. truly sad those Vietnamese ladies are amazing cooks but they need someone in there to help them.. this place needs a...

Food was expensive but fresh and hot. Building interior was kind of beat up and run down but I don't mind the lived in look and feel. I am kind of particular about Asian food as I grew up in Hawaii. Staples like rice are important and specific varieties are necessary. This place served an odd variety of rice and if they read this should note, "Calrose" is the best variety of rice.
