El Zarape Michoacano — Restaurant in Bell Gardens

This restaurant is the quintessential neighborhood dining place. The food was fantastic, plentiful, the staff ; two beautiful ladies were so nice, so helpful, so pleasant. The gentleman just stayed busy preparing everything and he still had time to assist the two ladies, and customers, in assuring that everyone had their orders met. This was a terrific dining experience. Seating, well, not so good. 3 booths, 2 tables and a counter for 3. Inside then 3 tables for four and a counter for 3 outside. Parking is 80% on the street and maybe 10 spaces off street. This is a great Mexican restaurant. So I was working around the area, a couple years back, and I got invited to this place. Until this day, I thank my buddy who brought me here. The place was really clean. The lady in the counter made it feel that I was talking with my tia or someone from the family( but the tia that gets down at cooking, if you're Hispanic, you know what I mean) plus they have the habanero salsa, but you have to ask for it because they don't have it available unless requested. I tried their fish tacos, the lady at the counter recommended them. They were freshly made, good portion, lots of salsa from the small salsa bar they have. The tacos had good flavor, not the best, but were very satisfying. Would I go back to get them? Defenetly, yes 👍.
