El Pollero 95 — Restaurant in Bell

The ceviche is great. However went by today Saturday at 5:40 when they have it posted that they close at 5:45. The door was locked and the guy just telling me to leave. I made gestures demonstrating sign says 5:45. Finally the employee comes out and has a crazy amount of attitude. Tells me business is slow and they closed earlier and if I expected them stay open for me lol😂😂 I explained that I only wanted ceviche and usually they either have it ready or don’t. This guy ended up charging me $25 cash only lol didn’t give me pricing, didn’t even allow me inside , didn’t give me a copy of the invoice…it was awful….. I truly hope ownership reads this and acts as this type of action ruins businesses. It was 5:40, door locked 3 people chillin on their phone and then they gave a horrible service when all I wanted was a quick ceviche.

I hope the guy didn’t spit in my food but nonetheless it was good. The ceviche is amazing and I’ve been coming for years. Plus they gave me a lot...

It's food was decent, nothing to brag about, the men taking the orders, and others working here aren't very friendly. They don't greet you with a hello,thank you,smile have a nice day as person with manners, especially working in a place of business are expected to act. A small location like this really should be nicer to the customers maybe they would get more customers. I found a much better place at 4111 Florence ave. Bell "El Ceviche Loco" I fell in love with, and they know how to treat customers with respect, the prices are about the same, and the food is big portions, and delicious, you get your moneys worth at this spot, it's highly recommended, and not too far from here, give it a try, you'll agree...

I have been going to El pollero 95 since i was 9 years old. They have changed locations one time. The tostadas are the best, and no one can beat that. The ceviche de pescado (fish) used to be amazingly good. Throughout the years, the taste has changed, and it's no longer any good, The quality of fish seems cheaper and a bit rubbery. I am now 40 years old, so I have been tasting this fish the last past 31 years. I no longer frequent this place, and I find myself going to el ceviche loco, which has way better ceviche, but the tostadas are not as good. One day, maybe El pollero 95 will bring back better...
