EL GUAPITO MEXICAN FOOD RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Bell

Drinks: Agua Fresca was good. Cafe de olla was good at first until you get to the bottom which had a weird taste. Food: pocole was good but the chilaquiles verdes were terrible. I asked for them to be spicy which they weren’t at all and the flavor tasted like it came from a can. Like the Hernandez can. I asked for no onions on anything and there were onions on the food so we did not eat the chilaquiles. Staff: We pointed out the errors and the waitress blamed the cooks since she told them and said there isn’t anything she can do other than offer a 15% discount. She told us there was no manager or owner on site. She could call the owner but he doesn’t give the staff any codes to remove or exchange anything even if it’s a staff error. We should have been told this before the other waitress took the plate and threw it out. As someone who works with the homeless, I would have much preferred to give it away since we still had to pay for it. Ambiance: It was hot, no AC. Fan if you sit in the front but NO fan if you sit in the back. It could have been cleaner. Idk why so many people said it was so clean lol tables sticky, napkin containers had food stains even my chair had food pieces, I had to clean it. The food was ok I didn't finish it, it was bland and tasted like it came from a can including the chips and salsa they serve. The fruit drink I ordered had a fruit fly in it I asked for a different drink . Then they brought ranch which had a bottle cap inside. It was pointed out to the waitress and she said it must've fallen when I served it. I got a wet carne asada burrito and for the price I was expecting more. The portion was very small. Flavor was lacking. The red salsa on top tasted like enchilada sauce from the can. No extras here. The wet burritos I'm accustomed to have melted cheese on top with a dollop of guacamole and or sour cream, but this had nothing.
