Friendly's Sports Bar - South County — Restaurant in Bella Villa

We hosted a 40th birthday party for a friend of ours on Saturday and this was one of the bars we stopped at. All was good until an employee came outside screaming at someone in our party for apparently talking trash to the bartender. Which this did not happen. Long story short, the owners chair is placed at the bar (with no sign saying it's reserved). A gentleman from our party was asked to not sit there and he immediately got up. A few regulars said that anyone can sit there when the owner is not there. The gentleman who was asked not to sit there let everyone know in the party that no one could sit there. An hour later, an employee came outside ready to fight over the entire thing. For someone who's worked in customer service for 20 years, this was by far the worst way this situation could have been handled. The gentleman who you came out screaming to is far from someone who would be disrespectful to someone, especially a woman behind a bar. The entire thing was a miscommunication and the woman who came out screaming would have understood that a little more had she just came out and talked instead of coming out ready to fight. You had a big party who was there to spend a lot of money and tip very well, you ruined that and any future business from...

Such a fun place!! We only barely scratched the surface of this awesome find. Not only I a the bar a great atmosphere, come to find out they also do a Murder Mistery dinner as well. The game room is full of fun stuff!! The jukebox didn't disappoint and the food was good too. The best part of the night was our server Michaella. It would be wonderful if they would get their website up and.running. Also helpful to know that the kitchen is NOT open on Monday and Tuesday! We were ignored until I stood staring at the bartender. Then turns or the owner/manager was sitting directly on my left where I stood. He had looked at me and also ignored me. Obviously I was not there to partake in the bar service...I had two...
