Taco John's — Restaurant in Belle Fourche

Food was okay and after we corrected our order once at the drive-thru window, we purchased items that we thought were missing, and still after getting home that the order was wrong. We ordered:

Two hardshell taco meal large size Large potato oles with nacho cheese One regular mountain dew

What first received:

Some kind of burrito One small order of oles Two large drinks (not a problem there)

What we purchased (because we thought we ordered wrongly):

Large potato oles with nacho cheese Large potato oles

When the bags were handed out we were told everything was good. As I was driving home we checked the bags again it was still wrong. We had in two bags: one large oles, one regular oles, one taco, that burrito thing and two order receipts. Truly we had enough so we went home. I checked the receipts at home and we were charged (all together):

Two large size two taco meals Two large potato oles (not included with the meal) Two nacho cheese dipping cups (didn't get any of these) One medium sized drink

Needless to say that I will not be going back...

It took forever in the drive-thru, so long folks were backing out and driving away. We waited about 12 minutes with about four cars in front of us, and we were going to leave ourselves. But then the window opened, and it picked up right away. When we arrived at the window, a sign said, " please accept our apology. We are short-staffed!" The attendant also apologized for the wait and she was friendly and kind. Our food was cold, but our donut bites were hot, LOL! BONUS! Unfortunately, this is the new norm! We usually do not eat out nowadays; very rarely, but since traveling, we have been. Same situation everywhere. Sad, sad, sad state of affairs! America needs to get back to work, this staff shortage with folks choosing unemployment over employment is extremely concerning given the social and long-term...

For a fast food chain- Very clean, friendly staffed, and quick serve 90% of the time. Their dining area has been updated with new seating and tables that have a more relaxed modern look. Bathrooms are usually up kept and stocked with toiletries. Odd parking set up. Parking lots don't have a lot of room. And there are two parking lots; one on the front of the building that can be seen from 5th Ave. (U.S. HWY 85). The second parking lot is on the back side of the building where it's out of sight from the highway; most people traveling through who stop here never knew about this second parking lot. And the drive-thru was been moved and now wraps around the second...
