The service and management are horrible. I was at the drive thru in a line of 10 cars and a car passed us all on the exit lane and cut into the second lane of the drive thru. When I complained instead of doing something about the guy who cut 10 people they muted the speaker and refused to provide service for a few minutes. Later when they went back on the speaker they had an attitude and wouldn’t respond clearly to my questions about their menu. Which did not display all the sizes of nuggets they served so o wanted to know what other sizes than 10 they had but the woman was just not interested in being helpful. I hadn’t even finished my order and she was trying to get me out of there. I have no idea how me following the rules angered this woman but a man cutting 10 people should have been acceptable. Honestly if this had happened a few years ago the person would have refused to serve him and apologized for his behavior and now everyone seems to think their job is too hard as is to even consider being sympathetic or empathetic to a customer. Whatever happened to trying to maintain order or following a certain level of expectation. If being a drive thru attendant is too hard to manage order and professionalism then how can you expect other customer service representatives to treat you in the future if this is the standard you are providing. If you don’t care about the treatment of your customers then why should the police, nurses, doctors and other service providers do so. This lack of empathy reverberates in our society and leads to far larger consequences. Being a drive thru attendant is a lot easier than other dangerous services but for some reason this lady felt entitled to be rude and would probably be extremely offended if an officer treated her the same way when that officer might have had a far risked and hazardous day than she’s had. However the more people you treat with disdain, will contribute to their nasty and negative moods throughout the day and that person might have a job in which their mood makes a difference in someone’s life. Treat people with respect and you will see more respect in the world. This lady felt entitled to be rude to a customer who had experienced a negative situation at her establishment and the manager just reverberated the rudeness by muting me when o called to try to complain. This just shows how little they consider their customers or their own professional...
Read moreI purchased a smoke house Burger from this location & microwaved the Burger when I got home. I was surprised to find that both times I put the Burger in the microwave it smelled of smoke as if a fire was happening somewhere in the house. I resolved that the microwave needed to be replaced and told my family members not to use it. As I began to eat the Burger I noticed that the smell of smoke and fire seemed to be coming from the Burger itself. The smell was so strong that my intuition told me that it was indeed coming from the Burger. So I opened up the Burger & started moving some of the toppings around and discovered a wirey, pliable piece of metal in the very center of it. I called the location at the number listed on Google and spoke with someone who identified himself as the general manager. I explained to him that I was not interested in calling corporate - I only wanted the sandwich replaced and that I was willing to drive back there with the receipt and a sandwich for replacement. The so called manager replied by assuring me that there is no way that I was telling the truth. Even went as far as putting me on hold for several minutes to ask his kitchen supervisor if it were possible (who also determined that it was not). He then replied that because it was impossible that he would NOT replace the sandwich. He said the only thing that he could do was direct me to another manager - his general manager (Clara) who was not available during evening shift. I complained about his unwillingness to resolve this amicably & asked for his name so that I could report it to corporate and this so called manager immediately hung up on me.
I physically went to store, came up with a clever way to get the dept. Manager's name who identified himself as "Andrew Terry" & admitted to refusing to replace the sandwich. I threatened to report how he is speaking to & treating loyal, paying customers to forward to Corporate for their reference. When he finally caught on that I was the woman he hung up on over a burger replacement he threatened to call the police on me & then called security to escort me out/call police because he did not want his face or his rude unprofessional treatment recorded.
I repeat - do not patron this location!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. This employee should be terminated!!! I'm calling...
Read moreThis place is an absolute joke of a fast food restaurant. Service is terrible, the wait times are ridiculous (could probably get snail mail faster then my order), and the amount of food that is missing from orders (ALL THE TIME) is embarrassing. Just tonight I got 2 happy meals for my kids, 1 had all the food while the other was missing fries and both didn't' have their chocolate milk. Asked for honey mustard was given bbq, I mean at least this time they remembered the sauce, normally that is missing too! For the amount of people you can see working there at 1 time you would think someone would have it running smoothly. This place needs a whole new staff and clearly management. The staff is rude and unprofessional, the inside is dirty, the self service machines never have receipts so you never know what your order number is since it quickly flashes on the screen and if you blink you'll miss it. Forget asking for help, they give you a hard time because again, useless staff. I'm surprised this place is still functioning with how awful it is. Completely unacceptable and I hope someone from corporate sees this and has someone undercover look at your operations and fires all of you. This place tarnishes the McDonald's brand with how poorly run it is. Avoid them at all costs! Go to another one even if it is out of your way, trust me it's worth avoiding the washington ave store. Get it together...
