I ordered a two topping pizza on the app, and when I arrived (curbside) they gave me a one topping pizza. They were out of one of the toppings. They gave me a one topping pizza instead of contacting me to request a substitution. I called inside to ask them about why my pizza was missing a topping and inquired on whether or not they were out of the topping and I was told to bring the pizza back inside so they could remake it. I go back inside with the pizza and tell the cashier I was the one who called about missing the mushroom topping and she told me, "yeah like I told him (the guy I talked to on the phone), somebody is going out to get mushrooms." I said that's what I asked him on the phone if you were out of them. She told me he was new. What him being new has to do with being able to say sorry we're out of mushrooms, I don't know. But the lady's customer service was horrible. She showed no empathy, acted like she didn't care, never offered a different option to see if I'd like a different topping instead. I just left with an onion pizza. They need to do better. When I have bad experiences I stop going to restaurants for a while, either months or years, until I'm ready to try again. I'll update my review whenever that next visit happens, which is no time soon.
This update is 10 months later, 05/31/2025 Their online site said my order was ready for pickup. I get there about 615. I give my name and am told it'll be right up in a few minutes. I'm waiting for 30 minutes for an order that the site said was ready but was completely inaccurate clearly. I stopped washing dishes to run and grab the order based on the status saying it was ready. After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked for an approximate ready time and was told about another 8 minutes. I'm frustrated and I just go home to finish the dishes and give them more time. When I get back the order is ready, but there was no apology for the extreme wait time at all. It was like I was the problem for my frustration about their horrible operations. Things this pizza hut can do to improve: Fix the website to NOT state orders that are not even yet being made are ready for pickup If the website can't be fixed, be realistic about ready times when customers arrive. There was no reason I should've been sitting in there 30 minutes and order was not ready until at least 40+ minutes without being told when I got there about the delay. I could've then gone back home right away and done other things rather than waste 30+ minutes of my time Be communicative during the long wait to provide periodic updates of how much longer it should be instead of just having us clueless and waiting. Apologize when you waste customers' time by not having orders ready at the promised time and not giving an honest approximate wait time Make the carryout orders in order received. I was told that one big order held up mine and others' orders, but a person's order was ready before mine who had a pick up time several minutes after mine, and was 4 customers below me on the list. The person had 3 boxes, so it wasn't due to it being a smaller order. My only pro is that the food was pretty good. Won't be back anytime soon, no more...
Read moreI switch up between here and the other LOCAL pizza places from time to time because there is no QUATRO'S PIZZA, PAGLIAS PIZZA or ITALIAN VILLAGE PIZZA like in my home town. The last few times I've ordered from PIZZA HUT ONLINE to be picked up from my local restaurant my order always seems to be wrong and I end up calling back. For example, when I order extra sauce on my pizzas I end up getting pizzas with hardly ANY SAUCE at all. Tonight I placed an online order and as I was standing in the lobby waiting to get my pizza the person before me was complaining about thier order. Hmmm. I was a bit nervous because I see I'm not the only one now. It wouldn't be so bad if the food actually tasted good. My taste buds get very bird after a few slices. The wings are always on point though. UPDATE: I was promised by an employee to receive a $25 credit towards my next order in which I planned on using the next weekend. When I called to place the order the general manager said I was only to get $15 credit. I won't be ordering from them...
Read morePizza Hut is getting ridiculous. We order large stuff crust with parmesan sauce, with chicken bacon and onions with an order of cinnamon rolls. We had it delivered. First off, I guess they didn’t have deliver drivers so I received a text that door dash was going to deliver it. I’m like ok. They get here and sit in the drive way for about 7 minutes on the phone so finally I had to open the door like give me my food. Open the box and it’s not what I order and it was burnt. The person who made it didn’t even try to look at what we order. They made red sauce with only chicken and burnt. That was the whole purpose of me placing for delivery so I didn’t have to get out. I took the mess back up there and got a refund. We always order from Pizza Hut and here lately it seems they are getting worst by the day. I wanted my refund back for the delivery tip also because she just sat there talking on the phone but the lady said she couldn’t give that back. We were very disappointed especially cause we order all the time...
