I would have gave them four stars, but I don’t know the Customer Service just isn’t always on point for me. now I come here specifically for their fried dumplings. OK I placed the order. The young man claims that he read my order back to me. I didn’t hear that. so I came in thinking I was getting whatever else I ordered plus my fried dumplings and when I start checking the bag, there’s no fried dumplings. I mean I really only ordered additional food because I was getting my fried dumplings and so when I mentioned it he did apologize but I mean I really just felt like you know he had already took my money, and I really just felt like if I wasn’t getting my fried dumplings then I didn’t want this food at all because I only come here for the fried dumplings. I didn’t wanna be that person tonight.so I kept the food n I did call back to try and express my feelings about how I feel like they should make sure that they’re repeating peoples orders because my fried dumplings ain’t in my bag and they didn’t charge me for and I’m not gonna sit here and wait when I already was waiting for my food .. all in all I’ll be finding somewhere else to dine because u doing to much arguing when u didn’t...
Read moreI ordered 2 meals tonite from China King in West Belleville. To start out the guy who took the order took the order in a hurried fashion. Second he didn"t know the menu very well as I was ordering. I order from this location quite often & never had this much trouble placing an order. I ordered a Chicken & Chinese Veg. Combo Platter & a Mei Fun House Special. He then asks what kind of meat? Mei Fun House Special has every kind of meat in it with angel hair pasta. The order took almost an hour to get here as well. Once we took the food out I found my Mei Fun was reduced to a small carton of Lo Mein noodles in some kind of gravy. I called to complain & the individual asked that if I wasn't happy I should bring the item back.. I am a handicapped individual, I couldn't. That is why I called in for delivery. Word to the wise, to avoid a communication barrier & possible mistake, order online or check your order at the door. I am disputing the charge on my credit card. Read moreIt's been an hour an a half and still no food. Person that answers the phone said it's on the way with 5 other deliveries. How long does food sit before being delivered, and only one person to deliver? Whatever... Issue is no food still. Literally ordered 1 hour and 35 minutes ago. Gf just called, been another 15 minutes or so, approaching 2 hours and still no food. 2 hours just got food.
Food was alright, very... wouldn't say cold, but definitely room temp, not even warm. Microwaved it and it was okay. Overall disappointing experience.
Poor delivery driver was probably having a very bad day, I imagine many customers venting their frustrations at the only face of the company they can see. The guy was out hustling to deliver the food, please keep in mind it rarely is the driver's fault.
