RI and Ko went above and beyond tonight, and let me tell you how: I am a DSP for DD Homes Network. DD Homes Network has been providing exceptional residential services to adults with developmental disabilities for over 35 years in Illinois. As a network, we are committed to creating a positive, respectful, and engaging environment that facilitates a sense of independent living for the individuals we serve.

As part of our programming, once a month our residents pick a country or continent to learn about for a week as they prepare for a homemade ethnic dinner of their choosing. Our residents chose Asia and after a delicious stir fry dinner, we loaded up on the bus to head to Best Boba Family for our residents’ first boba tea experience.

Ri was so warm and welcoming from moment one! She was personable and patient with each resident as they took their turn. We had 11 residents plus 2 staff and upon learning what the residents were learning about, she gave us baskets of dumplings and egg rolls on the house to enhance their experience as they explored cultures, cuisines, and drinks they've never had before - or heard of before!

Ri and Ko didn't rush us at all and no matter how they were approached by a resident, they handled it with warmth and friendliness. Our residents loved their drinks and expressed much gratitude along with a desire to come back.

Let me start by saying that this is the best bubble tea spot in this area. Why? Because it is authentic and the owners are so nice. As a New Yorker I was getting frustrated with all the other watered down options that I kept getting everywhere else. If you have no idea what real flavorful bubble tea is suppose to taste like then all the other places will work just fine for you but if you have a refined palette like I do, this is the only option that will make you happy. And the best part? THEY HAVE NONE DAIRY MILK OPTIONS FOR BUBBLE TEA! Pinch me because I must be dreaming lol. I cannot say enough how delighted I am that they are here!
