Spike's Pub & Grub Bar — Restaurant in Belleville

We had the absolute worst service tonight. It took over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were seated at a table. Our drink orders were placed and another 10 minutes goes by only for the waiter to bring us ONE drink that we didn’t even order… ordered food and the window time exceeded 20 minutes. Meanwhile it took 2 additional attempts to bring us the correct drinks. The food finally comes but the kids meal was MIA. We were told “someone at the bar gave it away” and that new chicken strips were dropped and it would only be 2 minutes. Another 15 minutes go by and the waiter just stops coming by and still no kids meal. The manager comes over to tell us that “the waiter disappeared” and they wouldn’t charge us for the kids meal… how nice of them, considering we didn’t even have it until another 5 minutes when they decided to just bring it out in a box along with the bill. We were told the kids meal was never rang in. As my husband and toddler go to leave, the vanishing waiter was outside on his phone smoking a cigarette. Literally the worst experience. We won’t be back...

If you want to go hangout with college KIDS, on both sides of the bar...this is YOUR PLACE! Walked in, and even though they advertise "latenight eats". I was told kitchen was closed("Everything is shut off"). Fine... EXCEPT 45min later two guys were brought out wings(Evidently"Friends of the barback")!!! Then the owner walks in, goes in back, and makes a sandwich(which is eaten in front of everyone)!!! Then the slot machine takes my money and shuts down. Told, afore mentioned, bar back. Who then took 30min to pick up a phone and call the company!!! Too busy "buying" girls shots! 2 hours later...I get my $ out of the machine & left.
