La Tía Angelina — Restaurant in Bellevue

I ordered the birria torta and two al pastor tacos via DoorDash. I was really excited, but that honestly was the worst al pastor taco I’ve ever had in my life. The meat was SO DRY and BLAND. I don’t say that often about food, but it literally tasted like cardboard. I don’t know if it was old, or maybe just an off batch, but of the hundreds of al pastor tacos I’ve had in my life, it’s officially on the bottom of the list.

The torta was… okay. The birria fell flat — I’ve had better but it wasn’t terrible, it just fell short on flavor. It seemed like the rest of the sandwich comprised of iceberg lettuce.

Overall, I’m pretty disappointed considering the rave reviews and that I want to support local restaurants. But ultimately, the torta was below average and the tacos were absolutely terrible. Probably...

I cannot stress enough how amazing this husband and wife team is. Brian and his wife did an excellent job for our event. We hired them for a special evening event at our church in Bellevue, and they delivered on every single point. Their Mango Limeade and Jamaica juice were so flavorful, bright, and refreshing; everyone was raving about it. Their fruit display with all the tajin, chamoy, and different add-ons was spectacular. The many varieties of snow cone flavors were right on point. Their burrito bowls with all the delicious and juicy varieties of protein were fantastic, including a vegetarian option. Their birria is one of the best I've ever had!! I love everything about this food truck, and you should definitely be a generous patron. I highly recommend...

As someone from SoCal, I've been looking for a good Mexican place around here. It's a taco truck next to the gas station, not the best location, but easy to get to. This place was perfect, taco tuesday had great prices, and the tacos were perfectly sized and flavored. The red salsa was so flavorful and perfectly spicy. I'm definitely coming back and bringing my family from Cali when they come up...
