I went to my local Starbucks and ordered my regular drink, Black iced-tea lemonade. When I began to tell the cashier, âBREEâ, how I like the lemonade, I was told by Bree that I was âpersonallyâ banned by her manager to order the drink I like, with one specification on the lemonade. I was completely humiliated in front of three other patrons in line. She continued to say her manager told her âexactly what to sayâ to me. She told me her manager told her to not fulfill my order. She then told me If I didnât like how they made their âlemonadeâ, to find another location. She proceeded to tell me Iâm not allowed to get that drink, the way I like it. When I said I thought her comment was pretty rude, she repeated her previous comment saying, âif you donât like it, you can find another locationâ. She kept repeating this, when I finally asked for the manager. She said the manager would be in tomorrow. I said is there a number for me to call? She said to call the next morning at 4:30am because thatâs when the manager would be there. She then picked up the phone to announce over the intercom âmanager to Starbucks nowâ. The QFC store manager came over to talk to me. I started to cry because I was completely in shock and humiliated. Thankfully the two patrons in line behind me felt so compelled to go to the manager, themselves, to report this unacceptable behavior. Iâve never ever been told I cannot get the drink Iâd like, and ABSOLUTELY have never ever been told my any Starbucks associate that if I didnât like it, then I shouldnât come back. I felt completely targeted and bullied by âBreeâ, making me feel incredibly terrible. I left the store in tears, trying to gather myself as I walked out. I cried on the way to my car, trying to calm myself down. I am completely appalled and made to feel horrible about myself. I shop at this QFC daily and get the same Starbucks drink most every time I shop. Iâve received bad customer service at this starbucks location before but figured the cashier was just having a bad day. This is unacceptable and if anyone experiences such horrible service at this location, be sure to report them to the actual QFC store managers, who are more than willing to help.    Read moreOn 06/07/2025, I placed a mobile order through the Starbucks app for a cold brew coffee at the QFC Bellevue 874 location. This was the morning of my wedding, and I scheduled the pickup accordingly. When I arrived, I was ignored by staff for nearly 10 minutes while trying to locate my order. Once I was finally acknowledged, I was told that my drink could not be made because the staff had chosen to clean the machine during the busy morning rush instead of doing so before opening or after closing.
No alternative drink was offered, and when I asked for a refund, I was told they could not cancel or refund the order. Instead, I was instructed to return on another day so they could make the drink as a "rain check"âa completely unreasonable solution given that I live four hours away and was not going to be in the area again.
I then submitted multiple refund requests via Starbucks customer service (both the online form and chat), and was repeatedly told that they were unable to issue a refund back to my gold card. This is completely unacceptable. I placed and paid for the order through the Starbucks app, using a gift card funded directly through your platform, and yet I'm being told that you cannot return the money to my account for an item I never received.
