Always hit or miss. Don't get me wrong, I like the crew behind the bar. They're friendly to their regular regulars and always seem happy to be at work. Granted, I've become a regular over the last 3-6 months (at least 10-15 visits per month in the morning before I go to work) and not one of them has asked for my name or treated me like they do their other regulars. They're not rude or mean to me on the face-to-face side. But on the drink front... They don't seem to understand what "no foam" means. When I try to get my drink corrected and made properly, they always seem so upset by it. Today, an older gentleman behind the bar put down a whipped cream canister with a little force after I asked a second time. If I knew I was going to get that response, I wouldn't have bothered. I had to ask for no foam three times and on the fourth drink made... there was still an inch of foam. I gave up. I had to ask one time too many as it was. The fact that I ordered the drink with no foam should have been enough. Honestly, my drinks aren't very complicated. It's either no foam, no water, extra hot, light ice or something else that's simple. On occasion, I might order a complicated drink but that's a rarity. I think I might need to go down the street and test out that Starbucks. My advice to you if you're visiting this store... don't be surprised if they don't get it right...
Read moreWriting this review for new blonde barista I encountered today (Unfortunately I didn't get her name!) She was very attentive and nice to the Caucasian guy in front of me, called his name, gentle eye contact, completed the order with a sweet smile and a courtesy of "Have a nice day" . Ironically, when it came to me, she suddenly turned COLD. Not calling my name on the order when it's clearly printed on the sticker, no smile, only poker face; put my order on the counter then walked away when I was standing right in front of her! (Assuming I don't speak English? Are you kidding?) I was basically "air" to her. I do not understand why I would be treated so differently from the previous customer. I paid for the service and got genuine rudeness and ignorance in return!! Wow!!! Thank you for the treatment, Starbucks!...
Read moreStaff should be nicer. I was buying merchandise that was marked on the wall for “50%” on multiple signs. When the item rang up, it was only 30% off. When I asked nicely, instead of the cashier just letting me know that I misread the sign (in small letters, it said “up to”) she asked the other workers, who whispered loudly about it and then replied to me with a very snarky, rude tone of voice. I felt disrespected as I just accidentally misread the sign. I told them the sign was misleading and they just were giving me looks. The signs WERE misleading, but it also wasn’t a big deal to me to pay more. I just don’t appreciate being disrespected when I kindly ask questions. Come on Starbucks. I bought my merchandise, but didn’t order the food I was planning on order. (Saturday, Dec...
