Here are the three things I was disappointed in. 1.) Ordered the Mama Rudy and it was bland, cardboard-ish crust and cheese was barely melted, not close to bubbly and the toppings were a bit raw (not in a good way.) 2.) The women's restroom was disgusting. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Like we're talking stuff growing in the bowl (isn't there a state health regulation on restroom cleanliness...especially in an eating establishment?) The floor was equally dirty. Then the toilet paper dispenser was positioned in a way that made it very difficult to retrieve, which was an issue after trying to create a major toilet paper barrier on the toilet seat to deem it useable. If I wasn't in dire need to utilize it, I would have gladly walked several blocks to use a decent restroom. 3.) I decided to give their large chocolate chip cookie a try in hopes of redeeming the previous two issues. It was OK, just plain dough and chocolate chips...very plain. The real issue, however, was that there was a piece of eggshell in the cookie. Luckily I noticed the little white thing in the otherwise smooth featureless top of the cookie. I was able to dig it out before my tooth crunched it...whew, I would have gagged. Luckily I was in good company during my visit, making my time there otherwise enjoyable. I wasn't feeling up to confronting the staff about any of these issues as I should have. It was my husband's birthday so I didn't want any potential unpleasantness so I kept it all to myself. I understand that this establishment's price point is low for Bellingham, but I would still expect edible food and a bathroom cleaned at least once a week. I dislike giving a locally owned (I'm assuming) business a unsatisfactory review, but they really need to make some...
Read moreRudy's Pizza is extremely hippie pizza, don't get me wrong, it's pretty good "hippie pizza", but let's face it, it's hippie pizza. It's not what real pizza is like. This is "Bellingham Pizza", which like another guy commented, Bellingham has the worst pizza probably in the world...I'm a Sicilian-American, so I know my people's food. Honestly first time I ever had a hippie pizza in my life, and I was weirded out at first, then I liked it, for what it was. Sad thing about reviews on food in Bellingham, is 99% of the food in bellingham is BAD, but since you gotta live with it, because of the bad pallets of the majority, all reviews are a "lesser of the 2 evil's" kind of thing. Honestly Rudy's is not good pizza, but for Bellingham, it's pretty...
Read moreDefinitely my favorite place to get pizza in town. I love that there is a whole wheat option, and they always have different specials. The only thing I would say is that if the person taking your order doesn’t remember to ask you what kind of crust you want (whole wheat or regular, thin or thick) then you automatically end up with thin white crust, and I’m just not a thin crust kinda gal. I don’t like feeling like I have to slap two pieces of pizza together to gain a little weight. So definitely remember to tell them what kind of crust you want if you’re as picky as me and they don’t ask. Other than that, no complaints. Love this place, just writing this review makes me want to go...
