La Victoria Taqueria — Restaurant in Belmont

I was very excited to find that La Victoria Taqueria has a location in Belmont Center!

Their tacos are my go to, and I generally get 2-3 always different fillings, but at least one is steak every time, I can't say no!

Also, get the horchata.

You don't just have to take my word for it, when I walked in to order a woman sitting outside happily enjoying her meal called out, "Get the horchata, it's excellent!" The food was ready before we finished checking out and that was a bit confusing. Once we opened the food, it was a obvious why. The saying that states that you can get things 2 out of 3 categories (i.e. Fast, good quality, and inexpensive), definitely proved to be wrong on this occasion. The food was fast but not good and not cheap. The fish was under seasoned and the veggie “quesadilla” was a cheese roll with boiled vegetables. The “guacamole” was a slice of avocado thrown on top. Honestly I only go because my wife wants the food. But it is very uncomfortable with the staff if you don’t know the language they seem to be very nice to those who speak Spanish. But tend to be dismissive of everyone else. I notice when my wife orders there’s a form of respect because she speaks the language.
