I will not tolerate this disrespect for Number 1 Taste. Yes, this place is cramped. No, you probably don't want to eat in the restaurant, as the location only has two tables and I'd be surprised if they're cleaned regularly. But here's the deal man. You don't go there for a nice sit-down place. An elegant relaxing time with you and your kiddos. No. You go there when you're hungry and don't wanna spend a lot. You go there when you've been drinking all day, and you don't care about dining, "experiences." You go there when the girl you like thinks you're ugly and you just gotta eat your feelings. Those situations don't call for bougie, they call for you begrudgingly strolling into a shack to order some greasy, cheap, Chinese American food that will feed not just your belly, but your soul. And, boy, do they deliver. That pork fried rice is stellar, the General Tso's and orange chicken are saucy, sweet, tangy, and ultra flavorful, and the beef with broccoli, a classic, is absolutely bursting with soy-umami goodness. As a greasy spoon, their food goes so hard. 10/10 will eat here again for sure.

I ordered shrimp chow mein & crab Rangoon. The lady acted confused, no English? I get back to the hotel totally starving after a long day. I open the box & see nothing but a pile of nasty onions & bean sprouts, only 5 tiny shrimp & a mountain of day old fried rice with NO NOODLES!!!! Look at the picture & my Reciept. I threw the food in the trash & ordered a pizza. I just spent $22.50 on pure garbage. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! the food is total inedible trash 🚮 & the lady will play dumb, not take your order correctly & just give you whatever they are trying to get rid of that day. Oh & BTW I speak vietnamese with some Chinese, but I shouldn't have to speak chinese to order a plate of noodles in Boston. 😅

Ignore the canned response telling me to email the owner…it’s an invalid address! This place is ridiculous Ordered a sweet and sour chicken for delivery and found a dead bug in my rice. I called the restaurant, and the woman on the phone told me that if I don’t like the rice, don’t order it next time! Then told me the owner would talk to me and probably hung up the phone! Eat at your own risk. I will be throwing this away.

I’ve been coming here for years. The food is good, but they ripped me off last time I went there. I gave the regular lady in the front a coupon that said free small rice and she ended up charging me for it. When I asked for the receipt her and one of the chefs in the back were hesitant towards giving me it, and when they did, they said it cost them money to make rice. They knew they charged me for the rice because I asked them several times to read my order back to me and they purposely didn’t mention the charge for the ‘free rice’. Why put out a coupon that says free small rice with $16 purchase if you’re going to charge me for it?? If you don’t want to give out free food simply don’t put any coupons in your brochure. I know how much my bill comes out to because I order the same thing every time. This time I was charged over the price and told the lady what’s the extra charge. She said there’s no extra charge and there price went up. Lies because I was there two weeks prior and the same lady took my coupon. I had to leave the store and get more money just to find out I was ripped off. When I finally got the receipt (10 min after paying) they said it cost them money to make vegetables and such and had to charge me despite the free coupon. There were no new staff - I knew everyone and was very upset when I left. I was very disappointed because I thought they appreciated me as a customer. I drive over one hour to go to your restaurant each time passing through dozens of Chinese restaurants because I was loyal to you guys and even promoted you to hundreds of colleagues. The incident occurred on August 22 around 2:47pm and there were no other customers there so I understand business was slow but does that ethically make it right to charge a loyal customer extra? I normally don’t post reviews but this has been bugging me for the past month. I really like you guys but was upset when you tried to pull a quick one on me. I wanted to come back to eat several times after but won’t come back until the manager is willing to show he’s sorry and is willing to make it right to me. Jack the owner wasn’t there or I would’ve told him what happened so he could rectify the situation. Let’s see if they can bring back this loyal customer and I will update the review when I hear back from them. I am willing to give you guys a second chance if you’re willing to...

They have decent Chinese food. I placed an order with them for New Years Eve, $200. I figured since this place only does Chinese takeout they would be able to handle the high demand on New Years Eve. I called my order in at 1pm… for a 7pm pickup. At 7 pm I was told to come back at 9pm and my order (might) be ready then… meanwhile they were taking more phone orders as I am standing there being told my 1pm-phone-order would not be available for pickup, 2-hrs after it was meant for pickup! Totally unacceptable! They should know how many orders they can accommodate without over extending themselves. I canceled my order at 8pm…their failure to pace their orders messed-up my families New Years Eve dinner. We scrambled to find an alternative for takeout food, we settled for Pizza… never again will I order from #1...
