Service was pretty slow despite 2 or 3 staff being on shift, and it was only a weekday afternoon in October. There were a few of us in line and at one point the staff on register taking orders and payments stopped what they were doing to step over to tell those of us in line awkwardly that this was a busy period and things were running slowly, so maybe we should use the app to order if possible, then reiterating that the line was going slower than usual, at which point almost everybody ahead of me in line just up and left (which actually seemed to be what the barista wanted to happen?), I assume because of the oddness of the staff's behavior and impression of ineptitude. I stayed, and when my time came to order my 2 drinks, a hot and an iced latte, I had to repeat myself multiple times because the barista kept confusing the drink order and getting the sizes wrong (nonfat milk not whole, and grande not venti), causing it to take me twice as long to order as usual, so I presume this was why the line had built up before. I wouldn't go back, especially because the parking lot is tiny and always full and street spaces on Trapelo are hard to find, so it's just not worth the trouble to find parking when the service is sadly incompetent/poorly trained. I've heard this location is hit or miss, having inconsistent service depending on the baristas, so I vote skipping it and going to another location since there are enough around here that don't have such irregular quality of service (like I've never had trouble with the one in Arlington...

Two days ago, while enjoying our coffee with my friend and our children, a staff member approached us and informed us about their noise policy, and asked us to leave because of our toddlers. Despite our children not causing a disturbance, we were asked to leave.
It is essential to clarify that we were in a coffee shop, a place for socializing with friends, not a library, theatre, or lecture hall. Our toddlers were behaving appropriately in public settings.
This experience left me feeling discriminated against and humiliated. I have never encountered such treatment before.
As a loyal customer who values Starbucks' commitment to diversity, I am deeply offended by this experience. I urge you to reevaluate your staff's training on diversity and customer service to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or family composition.
