I wish I would have taken photos! My friend and I each had a Chicago dog, we shared 6 piece jalapeno poppers and the supposedly "best cheese curds in town". Do you remember how your toes and fingers would get all wrinkly when you sat in the bathtub too long as a kid? Well that's what the hot dogs looked like. My friend said it "looked like and old man....." I cannnot repeat. The Chicago dog was on a poppy seed bun, with all the normal fixings. The tomato slices were paper thin, hardly worth mentioning. The mustard was a single squirt in the middle of the bottom of the bun. There were onions and the relish was an unnatural, dyed vibrant Kelly green ( why do food manufacturer's have to dye their pickles and relishes?). The cheese curds were very small and consisted of mostly breading. I bit into a couple if the really tiny ones and there was a speck of yellow-orange cheese inside, not worth mentioning. They are not "the best in town" in my opinion and I've been eating cheese curds since the 1960's :) The poppers weren't terrible but again, the breading was a little excessive and was the same as on the cheese curds. They also advertise "World famous Italian Beef" but if it's anything like "the best cheese curds in town", I don't think I'll go back and spend another Jackson to see if it's true. When they were located on 4th and Liberty the food was good....but not so much anymore in my opinion. Been a long time customer but I'm done.

Italian Beef, Western Burger, Inferno Wings and Cheese Curds...when U drive through Beloit...yeah I know why would U? BUT if U EVER find Ur self in the western part of Beloit just a few blocks off of 81...wow! Great meal for the price! One thing I do notice that the price is about right for me. The portions R proportional to what U paid for. Besides I think we ALL can use a bit of cutting down on our calorie intake, but I digress. I had the Italian Beef, it was awesome. My son had the Western Burger and he really liked it and glad we tried it there instead of Ur ordinary fast food joint. We both love wings and these were one of the best. Sorry to say but the wings reminded me how KFC wings used to be. Now only if DW can make the KFC hot sauce! Of course the cheese curds R cheese curds, we R in Wisconsin...can a Wisconsinite F-that up? Overall...4 thumbs WAY UP!

I had been going to dog world for the past 5 years. I order the italian beef which is fairly good. I ordered with a coupon today, which is totally deceiving because there is basically no deal. When you order the italian beef, they ask you every time, cheddar or mozzarella cheese, hot or mild peppers, and au jus. So any normal person ordering is assuming that's what comes on the sandwich. But, its all extra. I ordered the two italian beefs for $11 and it comes out to $14.03. So basically the coupon is means little to nothing, smh. And today in one of my two italian beefs, there was a rock in the sandwich. They just lost a customer today. Lol at the owner, you still don't get it. You're coupons are pointless, end of story guy. Like I'm going to bring a rock in from outside and put in my sandwich, lol. You're out of your mind. DBAG!

For starters, staff are not friendly at all. I called in my order and after every single item I was asked if I was done. If I was allowed to place my entire order instead of being cut off after each item it would’ve went quicker. Felt very rushed and this is Sunday afternoon, when I got there they had no customers.

Now the food. I ordered an Italian beef super soaked with light hot peppers and American cheese, A order of fries and a small shake. The shake is delicious. The French fries were cold, hard and probably had been sitting there. I’ve worked in places like this and I grew up eating at places like this and I know those fries were not fresh! Now the beef, the cheese was under the beef, the ticket said they put shredded cheese, so why not put it on the beef? When someone asks for super soaked or as the girl taking the order said “extra soaked” . Then that’s what one would expect. The beef is very skimpy in my opinion.

This was my third time going there and each time the service wasn’t what I’d expect at all. No one is friendly and if they are, it must be to only people they know or that look like them. Cuz according to some of these reviews I read some of them said they were very nice. But I’ll have to disagree. I’m sorry cuz I really want to like them CuzI don’t know where else to go for gyros and beefs. I don’t understand why they just can’t acknowledge you when you come in the door and say hi and I’ll be with you in a moment or something. Being friendly costs nothing!! I’m the type of person that can look past the fact that the food ain’t the best if their customer service is good. But if neither is good then its hard to keep giving them my money. And I wish I would’ve had a receipt Showing how much...

TLDR: Gave 5 stars because service was friendly and speed of order was good even with constant calls coming in, food was great, place was small which made getting that good of food and service all the better. Impressed.

Usually a gyro is a gyro and I like it unless its garbage. I liked the gyro. But I got 2 other items that actually surprised me at how good they were. I'll start with the chicken wings. I went in expecting subpar wings at a decent price. These bad boys were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the batter had a nice flavor. Not overbearing but enough flavor you could eat it alone or with a sauce. And the size of the wings were fairly decent, good amount of meat. Definitely recommend for wing lovers. Finally, my favorite part. The gyro nacho fries.... amazing. Theres a key to eating them though. DO NOT MIX the ingredients. Eat it as is, grabbing a bite with each layer included, from top to bottom. My girlfriend mixed hers and the difference was clear. They serve it the way they do because damn its good that way. The right amount of flavor from each ingredient comes together with a sensational mouthful of awesomeness. Must try for sure 10 out of 10 on those gyro nacho fries. DO NOT MIX or STIR... I...
