Some of the worst food I've ever had in my life. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo and my girlfriend ordered the Breast of Chicken Picatta. The vegetables served before the entrees consisted of two pieces of celery, two baby carrots and a radish cut in half. It reminded me of a preschool lunch without the plastic baggies. The bread with it was covered in honey, strange and sticky, and there were two cinnamon rolls along with it which had the oddest bitter aftertaste. My girlfriend's soup was decent. I had a french onion, where the cheese on top wasn't melted and proceeded to not melt while I waited. It tasted old and musty. The salad consisted of the greener half of a head of iceberg lettuce, coated in a shredded white cheese that seemed slightly frozen. The same cheese that wouldn't melt on the soup. The fact that we were in Wisconsin at a fine dining restaurant that didn't have craft/artisan (or at the very least decent quality) cheese was absurd. We should have just walked out at this point. We talked about it, but were strapped for time and couldn't really stop at another restaurant or go home to cook something.
The entrees. The chicken picatta according to the menu, is a "sauteed breaded breast with chef's pasta, white wine, lemon and caper sauce". What she actually got was a battered and fried chicken breast that looked like it came out of the freezer, sitting on a bed of store-bought cheap noodles soaking in 1/2 an inch of a sauce that was at minimum 85% butter with some capers thrown on top. I ordered the seafood alfredo. It arrived as a bowl covered entirely in Alfredo sauce. Upon excavation there was in fact a piece of shrimp in there and a few scallops. It was worse than any seafood alfredo I've ever made, but I make a mean alfredo sauce, so it was mediocre. The real shock was after I picked up a bite, the hole where I had taken the noodles from filled up with butter. This was disconcerting, but on occasion sauces do separate a bit and I decided to forge forward, and I was hungry. After the third bite, not only did I now have three craters of butter on my plate, but it seemed to be seeping up, as if I had unearthed an underground river, and was proceeding to rise up and cover the Alfredo sauce. I mentioned the insane amounts of butter in the food, to which the waitress told us the chef may have gone overboard on the butter, "but butter makes everything better." She didn't bother asking if I wanted the rest to go. This was the first time in my life that I have left a "nice" restaurant hungry because the food was so bad I actually didn't want to eat it. I don't know if the cook quit that morning or if they just have no sense of quality, but I hope I never try another restaurant that I prefer frozen dinners to.
We have nicknamed this place "butter-town." If I ever have children, instead of placing them in "time-out" I will threaten to send them to "butter-town," a punishment...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Liberty Grill in Beloit, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town, and I can't wait to share my thoughts.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service. The staff made sure we felt right at home, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive.
The menu itself is a culinary journey, offering a diverse range of dishes to suit every taste. Whether you're a fan of classic comfort food or seeking something more adventurous, Liberty Grill has you covered. Their burgers are a must-try, and the quality of the ingredients truly shines through.
I appreciate the attention to detail when it comes to presentation. Every dish was beautifully plated, and you can tell that the chefs take pride in their work.
What truly sets Liberty Grill apart is the commitment to sourcing local and fresh ingredients. It's evident that they care about their community and the quality of the food they serve.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it perfect for both a casual lunch or a special evening out. And the cherry on top? A fantastic selection of craft beers and cocktails to complement your meal.
Overall, I can't recommend Liberty Grill enough. It's a gem in Beloit that should not be missed. I'll be returning for more delicious experiences in the future, and I hope you'll have the chance to do the same. Bon appétit!

Read more2/18/23, 6pm reservations for 7. Made the reservation over a month.added the 7th person two weeks ahead. They said they only had 6 chairs, even though they had plenty of chairs in an area that wasn't being used. One person had to sit in a covered tiny chair. Prime Rib on special, one person ordered medium rare. The prime rib was delivered well done. Took forever for the waitress to return. When everyone was almost finished, the waitress returned. Person told her the prime rib was over cooked. Waitress returned only to say they were out of medium rare, they had so may orders, like the person was just supposed to accept it. Told the waitress to take it back and because everyone else was finished eating to just take it off the bill. Then a manager came and had the audacity to ask if the person wanted dessert! Seriously, dessert to make up for over cooked prime rib đ we had to ask extra times for water. The service was not good! Then after we finished eating and asked for our checks, the waitress said oh, I forgot to tell you we added in a gratuity!! WHAT??? oh she said we do that for parties of 6 or more. 20% WTH! We were couples who ordered separately and 1 extra person. The service and food were unacceptable not a lone a $60 tip!! Are you kidding me! Never again. The night was ruined for us. This was our family...
