I can honestly say. I was glad that I was oblivious to the time that they close, which is at 2 PM. It was about 135 when I walked in. I was seated given the menu and I was welcome with the smile. They didn't shoo me away. Which I would have left gladly, I understand when you're closing, you know, you want to get out of there. Get home, I get it. But no, they Welcome me with open arms. So that was cool. Check out the menu. It was extensive things, a lot of good stuff on that menu. Maybe I haven't tried them all yet. But it's definitely a place that would go back to for the food to cook. I tell you, put some quality time into its cooking. Everything was fresh presentable, good plating. I had the Chicken Fried steak, and I had to tell you it was one of the best I ever had. The gravy was perfect. Diced potatoes, which was perfect golden, not overcooked. It was, I was impressed . The eggs is perfect, not overcooked, no browning on them. I give kudos, for doing a job well done the coffee was a little weak, but again, that was because they had to make a first part. And he kind of made it a little weak, because once again, I was clueless that they closed Ed 2, so they're in their cleanup phase, because I'm maybe they don't get customers around that time. So they were focused on prepping for the next day, and they even said that the coffee may be a little Weak,i don't like weak coffee, but I drank my coffee with a little flavored cream and sugar setback and checked out the place. The waitress took my order with the smile, I made some recommendations and I was happy. Yeah. The owner of the place came over to warm up my coffee which I didn't know. She was the owner to say, hello, we chatted for a little bit. She told me she's been there for 2 years now. It's kind of like a family restaurant cause everybody knows each other there, very polite. The food blew my mind. I was very pleased that I stopped so if you hop off i90 heading towards bullet college, if you see them on your right hand side, come in hungry, leave full and happy. If you don't want leftovers, be care for what you order. That's all I'll say, but if you do want leftovers. yes, please. Here are some photos...
Read moreI donât normally write negative reviews for small local businesses but here we are. I have been here twice once when they first opened and again this past week. Each time they were not busy but somehow the food took over 30 mins after ordering. I will focus on just my last visit since the first time I gave the benefit of the doubt that they were new. The server apologized multiple times that the food was taking so long and stating she doesnât know why it is taking so long. We ordered 2 omelettes, and 2 plates of simple eggs, meat, potatoes, with either pancake or toast. The part that really bothered me is the food brought to the table was not complete and some finished food before others even got their food! I ordered an omelette with a pancake instead of toast. I was completely done with my omelette before I got my pancake. My pancake was significantly smaller than that of my friend who ordered the exact same thing. I mean regular plate vs dessert plate. My 6 year old son was the last to get his food vs all the adults being served first - he ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. When he did get his food he waited another 5-10 mins for his toast. The food tasted ok but with this being the second time we had this kind of experience the mediocre food, prices (normal as any other), and lack of organization when sending food out we will not be returning. I wouldnât recommend to anyone who isnât dining alone to go. If so someone will be waiting while the other is eating. IMHO not worth the trouble or awkwardness. Really to bad because my family truly enjoys going to breakfast. We also really liked...
Read moreMy husband and I started visiting here a few months ago and haven't stopped. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with nicely decorated walls and smiling staff. The portions are plentiful, and we sometimes share a breakfast. The hashbrowns are wonderful, made from scratch, as are the baked goods: breads, pies and desserts. We finally stopped in for the Friday Fish Fry, which turns out to be the best around. No margarine used here! Only butter. Try their menu; you will be...
