Caroom shouldn't have drunk people running the bar. When it came time to close our tab the lady running to bar gave my husband back what we thought was his ID. She was the one with brown hair. Got home and realized that he was given the wrong ID. (We didn't check because being the only black person there it should be hard to match the face to the ID. The guy John in the Id was white ,older and heavy) I called Caroom room and explained the mix up. The lady on the phone was apologetic on the phone, said that that never happens and they were sorry. I asked can I come down and exchange the strangers I'd for mine. I asked if my husband's Id was still there. She said yes. I explained that Ibwas hisbwife and if I could pick it up. She said that would be OK. Mind you this was a major inconvenience but I was polite and said I was on my way. I was there less than 10 minutes. I explained to the blonde that I just called, My husband was given the wrong ID, and handed over the other person's ID. The blonde walked away and got the brown hair girl. I heard her say " I'm not giving her the ID". She walked over, crossed her arms and glared at me. Her demeanor was hostile before I even say anything. I explained the whole thing again. She was so nasty and unprofessional. As she talked it was very clear she was very drunk. She started talking about how this happened to weeks ago and he ran out of his tab. I got very frustrated and said ma'am we where here 30 minutes ago, table 8, Bud light, sprite total bill $11. You made a joke about Starry pop and everything. This went around and around of her not making sense. I asked twice who I talked to on the phone. They wouldn't tell me. I have a feeling it was the blonde I talked to on the phone and she didn't want to throw the brown haired girl under the bus. Then they said you can't get it, your husband has to be here. Ma'am I asked you if I can come pick it up.( Its not there business but my husband is legally blind. By the time we got home, my husband already took out his contact lense out and started his eye drop regimen.) I just told them he couldn't come and that's why I asked less then 10 min ago if could pick it up. She kept saying that this happened to weeks ago. Ma'am please give me my husband ID, I just talked to on the phone, I don't know this John person, I don't know what happened 2 weeks, we paid our bill, you gave us the wrong ID. A few minutes of this and she finally gave me my husband Id. I kept my cool and walked away. If you are the owner please be aware that the brown hair girl is drunk on the job, passing out the wrong IDs. If we were unscrupulous people we would have copied all of John's personal. I get accidents happen but to have bartenders be drunk rude unprofessional is bad...
Read moreThe blonde older bartender always has a fit when me and my friends come. We always tip good and give her a smile. She shouldn’t be working there if she’s going to roll her eyes when they have to cook. Mind you she also slides the menus towards us but in a very rude way.
Ive held back posting these things because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. And I like to support my local businesses because my family also has a small business.
But she has been doing this for the past few years. To the point where I don’t want to go there period.
The last time Me and my 3 friends went. (We’re all POC/Hispanic). She threw menus at us then walked away. The gentleman asked for what we wanted to eat. We told him. And then she came up and asked. “Are they seriously asking for food?” And he told her the order. Where she then rolled her eyes to the point where you couldn’t see her pupils. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I asked the man if there is an issue because she rolled her eyes at us. And he said “no actually she’s really nice. I think there’s a miscommunication between the what happened.” Idk what else she was trying to do if not be rude? I then told him. If there’s an issue we can’t just cancel the order and we can order at McDonald’s if it’s too much. It’s interesting too because I come with my friends who are white and there’s no issue. She’s smiling and sweet. It’s unfortunate that people feel the need to make people from the community feel unwelcome.
I don’t see myself returning in the near future. I’d rather starve than treated in...
Read moreIf you want to walk into an establishment and have your friends treated like sht immediately, this is the place to go. Sounds like the bouncer and establishment was caught selling alcohol to minors, so the bouncer had to be rude and take it out on the customers. Been going here for years and wont go back. Dont be disrespectful to my friends, my money is as good as anyone elses. My friends and I are in our 30s. Its crazy how fast a bouncer can turn into a waitress at 50 years old, he must be proud of himself for getting nowhere in life. Luckily i put him in his place and he got an understanding. Because if i come back and that were to happen again, you wont have a bouncer. I'll see you...
