Great place for a home styled burger of good size. Chief complaints keeping this place from getting five stars are as follows. Food wise: no options for avocado or mushrooms on the burgers. When asked they say they used to carry those but not enough people order them, why not consider giving out free samples of burgers with those ingredients to create exposure and better demand for it. I feel that a good burger place in Texas that doesn't do something avocado or guac related is missing a huge opportunity. Secondly who doesn't like a good quality mushroom cheeseburger? Portobello or shiitake mushrooms and boom, pure gold. Mood/decor: looks like Hodgepodge of styles, poorly placed high schools sports paraphanelia, juxtaposed with rustic woods, dingy old carpet poor ambient lighting (cold light), very dated chairs and tables, all work together to detract from the otherwise chill eating experience, the place perpetually looks like they are in the midst of transitioning between a failed sports bar look, mom and pop old restaurant look, and modern rustic look. This clash is made worse especially considering how modern the building looks from the outside. At the very least they should get rid of the dingy drab looking carpet, and adding some warm lighting. I think a modern rustic look can really work for this place if they commit to it, and then later add items to personalize the look as an overlay to the rustic look, not the...
Read moreWhatever you do, don't complain about anything while you are there. My wife and I have eaten here at least twice a month since it opened and always were happy. Yesterday we went in with our granddaughter and we noticed that the burgers were noticeably smaller than usual. One of the girls that works there came by our table and asked how our meal was. I asked if the place had changed ownership because the burgers weren't as big as they usually are. She said no, they had ran out of buns so they were using smaller buns. Two minutes later, the owner came to our table very agitated and said he didn't appreciate me saying that he was "ripping people off". He then proceeded to tell us that the buns were smaller but the rest of the burger was the same, which we didn't feel to be true at all. I told him that we eat there all the time and we have never had any complaints. He said that's because his burgers are good and I agreed. After his verbal assault on us, I told him that I wouldn't come back just because of the way he had acted. He said he didn't care if we came back or not. Very unprofessional, almost scary the way he acted. So we...
Read moreUpdate: Star rating increased to 5 of 5. I've been there enough to see there is a high level of consistency of product and staff to customer interaction. Made me feel like a valued customer, which always feels good. The meu is not huge, but the offerings are satisfying. Older: Rock solid local experience. I'll need to visit more than once to see if B Town Burgers should be rated at 5 stars, but for now, 4 stars is for being above average with great onion rings and burgers. I thought the customer service was above average. Five stars is supposed to be reserved for "You loved it" type of experiences or best of the best, and that is why I'll need a few more visits to evaluate further. We went on the Night of Belton High School Homecoming football game, so it was not a fair comparison, as they were packed. I'll provide an updated rated when I go back at the lunch or early...
