Subway — Restaurant in Belton

My visit here tonight was disappointing. I go to the subway inside of Walmart off of West adams frequently and always have great service so I assumed that's what I would get tonight at the one in belton. When I first walked in, I could tell the customer in front of me was annoyed but I thought maybe he's just being impatient. I was wrong. The employee making the sandwiches had headphones in one ear and kept asking the customer to repeat himself after literally everything he said. In addition, he took forever making the guy a sandwich, a wrap, and a kids sandwich. I really fell like it was because he was listening to music loudly. It took him fifteen minutes to complete the three items before he got to me. I then told him I wanted cheese and herbs bread. He told me they only had white bread left because his manager told him if they have white bread left, they need to sell it and not make any more cheese and herbs bread. That's not his fault but that was annoying. I will definitely be sticking to the subway inside the Walmart on West adams from now on. Standing in line for over 15 minutes while the restaurant isn't busy is crazy! I gave 2 stars because the sandwiches were good-it was just the service that was...

At least one of the staffs at this store is clearly racist against Asians. Just now, my wife was trying to order some sandwiches. There were two staffs working and another customer ordering something. My wife was completely ignored. She waited in line while the available staff just gave a glance at her and went to the customer who was already taken care by one staff. If you think this is just a lazy staff, then wait to next. A delivery guy came to pick up orders. The staff who was being “lazy” suddenly showed up with smile and got the order ready while my wife was still standing there. Background info, we are Asians and I cannot think of any other reason but racial discrimination for them to do so. Was driving by and decided to try that location for once. Nice getaway from Walmart Environment. Closed in lobby that separated sound from the hustle and traffic of shoppers. The staff was very polite and helpful. I used a coupon I got in the mail and got a Foot long, got 3 oatmeal cookies and a 20oz cool blue Gatorade for $12.52. Excellent food and a really good alternative to fried fast food for the same price! The coupons offered are saving me $5 a meal on average. Every dollar counts in this economy!
