So I jist moved to belton which I love I've eaten at many great places from chains to indapendant and have found many great places specially Mexican food. After long day work was craving Chinese food called to get a idea looked at reviews amd went, walked out didn't eat. Honestly idk where the positive reviews ate but was horrible I showed up 1.t hours before close everything looked old the egg roles looked burned didn't say what was n them was no veggie spring roles no cashew chicken no Kung pow the sweet and sour looked dried and old the selection was minimal nothing looked edible. If it were free wouldn't have ate it. The sushi worse. Poor selection poorly done. Went across street to heb spent $20 on sushi and potstickers and went home. I don't eat buffet often not a fan but never been to one so just poorly done. Staff was nice but it was ghetto feel not for me and again on buffets I set a low standard bs fresh so im.being fair as I can....
Read moreIf you like hard jello egg drop soup or crispy dry dumplings, this is your kind of place. Lets not forget to get new gloves and get stared down by the front desk man every time you decide to go get new gloves on. You will feel the beaming hot stare from the moment you get up from your table. We are required to wear gloves every time we go get food. I didn't make a mistake of getting new gloves when I went to go get another plate of food. The first glove had food on it and it was dirty. The man at the front desk acted like I was stealing gloves. Talk about feeling uncomfortable in this environment after one plate of food. If you are feeling some type of way, please do wear about 5 gloves on each hand. Safety first!! During times like these, there is no such thing as too many gloves. For the price this place ask for, it's not worth it! I feel violated he stared me down like I was a criminal. I don't like a man staring at me...
Read moreI went with the intent during lunch hour to catch nothing but the upmost freshness in the food, it was just that, so no biggie; although those Mumbo jumbo noodles were just outright unnecessary for the chow Mein, the thin noodles did the job, somewhat. Not much variety, see the pics for reference, that’s what you get. Usually I can chow down on about 2-4 loaded plates but the selection was a bore and the rice was azz, like cmon now either don’t reuse day(S) old rice and continue to serve it or at least try to freshen it up by puttin a lil water in it; I’m not sure which is drier, a Popeyes biscuit or the rice this place serves. I was trynna be a Scrooge with my money, I shoulda just gone to Panda Express. Lesson learned. My server was absolutely attentive and so it redirected my focus from the subpar food choices. At least they have a supportive and solid work team to keep this place running. Give them raises!...
