JNeely’s Burrito Bar — Restaurant in Belton

It's ok, the food is quality and it's marginally good, but on that point, so is Chipotle and freebirds... The cost of my burrito was substantial compared to the competition. I got a burrito the size of a "hybrid" burrito from freebirds for twice the price of freebirds. Bottom line, prices need to come down substantially and the food needs more flavor. The ordering system and bar set this place appart from the competition but that doesn't matter when your competition beats you in both price and flavor. I suspect that prices could come down if they went down to 2 or 3 people on the line, the kitchen was packed with people when I went (5 or so) and it can't work efficient with so many people. Why does it take 5 people to throw stuff in a tortilla when the competition does it with 2 people? Less people equals lower cost and less chance for mistakes, I ordered sour cream on my burrito and either they give stingy taco Bell portions of sour cream or one of the 5 people overlooked it because I found and tasted no sour cream. I would give 1 star but I don't want to be too hard on this place, its new and I want it to succeed but they have a few sins to deal with.

##UPDATE## Redemption and it tastes so good. Just finished some jneelys nachos and it was so much better than my first expierience. The price was still a bit insulting. Nacos are not nachos without queso but I had to pay $1 extra to make my "Nachos" nachos. Overall the toppings were fresh and had great flavor. The portion size was much better, I couldn't finish all my nachos. The taste and quality of food beats Chipotle and has the bold flavors of freebirds. I cannot rate the bar items since I don't drink but I hear the bar is great. Like I said, prices are still a bit high but it's more of a value now than it was when jneely's opened. Glad to see they are working to improve. It's nice to have a buritto...

Amazing staff & food. Upon arrival we were immediately greated by one of the staff members. She quickly showed us the ropes on how to order. My daughter and I ordered two burrito bowls minus the beans & rice. We got chicken & beef. Since we paid cash we got a free personal chips & salsa. So will you if you pay with cash❤ Let me just tell you the smell of all that fresh food cooking will make you wants chips & salsa even if your Keto like me lol. The vibes here are so inviting with its bright & clean interior. I dont think Ive seen a cleaner restaurant 🤔 There is also a bar area and outdoor patio. The meal for us was so bitter sweet. As I ate a celebratory lunch with my daughter for her accomplishments thus far Senior year in high school we were entertained by one of the staffs babys, Hannah. Hannah was enjoying some avacado as her Mama was waiting tables. We loved that this was a family friendly place! We was quickly reminded how fast life goes by. Seeing Hannah, I was reminded of days gone by. So we took the time to eat in & chit chat as I wont always have this time. I was hesitant when my family picked it out as they described it as "a Chipotle like place." It clearly is not yes very laid back feel but also makes you feel spoiled and well taken care of. You mark what you want and they make the food and call you when it's done. It's dine in quality with Chipotle convince. We all got something different and loved it. Their staff is young including what looks to be the person in charge but watched how he handled everything gracefully. I have been working in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and was impressed with how he handled a medical emergency that happened while we were there. He took great care of the person, getting her help while also doing a great job of keeping it on the down low out of respect for the person. As well as having the staff continuing working and adjusting to the situation (also great job on the staff as that is not easy to do and they did a great job)

The only critic I can give is it would be nice if they had like a party system where you can have the food be served almost corse style or once everything is made. However thats if im being nit picky. The food did all came out separate however it was so close together that it didnt take much out of the experience,...
