Pho 88 Vietnamese Restaurant — Restaurant in Beltsville

The food is good ok at Tims here but I have never been so disrespected in my life. It's amazing how a few words can make you feel so small. I have ate here a couple of times because the food is okay and close to home. But the customer service has not been so good lately. I can honestly say no matter how good the food is I will never come back and waste a penny of mine here. I will also make sure none of my friends or family eat here and hopefully create a chain. I came in here on 07/15/17 and gave It another chance despite the little attitude this people have at times not always. When I ordered a smoothies with bubble, I was told that he didn't feel like making it. I said you mean you don't have any and he repeated no I just don't want to do it for you. My mouth stayed wide open and said excuse me and he repeated we are to busy and your smoothies are a back up. I have ate here many times and many of my paychecks have feed these people remember every little counts and for them to tell me that I'm not worth making a smoothie, I find that very disrespectful. My money is as good as anybody's else's but as I am a respectful person I said ok turned around and left. Till this day I think is this a business do they not need to sell and make as much as they can? But whatever never again will I step foot in here and hope this review helps in choosing where to spend your money at. Because this place is not worth it. First time experience here at Pho 88 and it was good. Upon entering, they dont take you to a table and so you can sit where ever you want. Also since this is the case, it takes them a bit to realize you are even there in the first place. The service was nice and polite. We ordered the Fresh Garden Rolls which are primarily lettuce. They have one piece of shrimp and a bit of meat (This is if you order them to be cut in half). Be aware that they DO NOT cut the rolls in half when bringing it, and if you do ask them to cut it they won’t bring it back until the rest of your food is ready. The Pho was like any other pho restaurant, except I kinda felt like the noodles were a little overcooked since some would break off when I tried to lift it with my chopsticks. The Pork chops were good but could’ve been better. I just feel like there wasn’t much seasoning on it and kinda tasted bland. Also small bits of bone hide in the meat which caused my teeth to ache miserably and I swear it felt like I needed a dentist right away. Besides almost cracking my teeth I say the pork chops were good. Bathrooms were a bit dirty but only the floor and the restaurant area is mostly clean. I will visit here again, and this time order the rolls cut in half 😌👍.

I’ve never in my life felt so disrespected in my entire life. I’m going to the TOP with this one and I’ll see to it. There was a woman waiter. We asked if she could give us boxes to go and she brings it slams it on the table, so I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, and asked her for a bag, proceeding to ask her about her day, and she ignored me. She then comes and bring the bag throws it at me. I finally decided enough was enough. I asked the manager that maybe if she was having a tough day and costumer service is very important. He said “it’s been a long day we are ready to go” THE MANAGER!!!! I said that it doesn’t matter, until the last second costumer service should be the most important thing because we are spending money in your establishment.
