Update sind my last review in parentheses blow. I was back on the business trip and came here for lunch on Wednesday November 2nd. Wow what a 100% difference!!!!. The young girl with the black hair in a ponytail and the tattoo left arm did a wonderful amazing job on my sandwich. I had a business colleague with me and he loved it too. It was so good we took pictures of our sandwich. The manager here did an excellent job retraining the staff. Great job thank you so much for such a wonderful juicy BLT sandwich. By the way the girl made it perfect, bred in, extra mayo, triple extra lettuce, extra tomato, and added extra onion, it is the best BLT sandwich out there and she does a great job!!! I will include pictures of her sandwich and the old picture of the bad sandwich from August.
(I've been going to Jimmy John's for the last 10 years and it's my favorite place for a sandwich and BLTs. However August 3rd Wednesday night at 8:05 p.m. I received the most absolutely worst most disgusting sandwich ever in the history of Jimmy John's. I always order my BLT with bread in, extra mayo, extra extra lettuce, and add extra onion. The 3 guys working behind the counter apparently look like they were cleaning up even though the store was open for another hour. They said they were out of lettuce,,,, then they changed their mind and said they'll go cut some lettuce because normally their prep people in the morning did not slice enough lettuce. Anyway they seem like a bunch of nice guys... I get to my hotel and open up my sandwich which I was wondering why it was super light to begin with. It was disgusting!!! The bread was a day old and hard, they scooped the bread out when I said don't do it, there was barely any mayonnaise on it and it was dry, there was extra tomato and extra bacon but this was the worst driest sandwich ever in my life, I would have not even given this sandwich to a bum on the street...... I travel a lot here in the northwest and normally on business trips this is where I go for lunch since 2016 and never had an issue here at this Jimmy John's and always have had nice big fat thick juicy BLT sandwiches,,, what I just received tonight is laughable and probably the last time I will ever come and eat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this location with a friend. I was visiting from out of town because I am considering relocating here. Im rethinking that decision after getting a taste of the workers and their crappy attitudes and customer service. We tried to order and the music was so loud I couldnāt even communicate with the smart mouthed employee trying to take my order. My friend and his son both made request to lower the volume. We would have liked to have been able to communicate. The employee made excuse after excuse as to why they couldnāt turn down the music. My friend then requested the manager. He was actually worse then his subordinates. As a business owner looking to open a location in the Bend area, this didnāt sit well with me. If these brats worked for me they would quickly find themselves unemployed. Customer service is something I place a high value on. If this is a sample of employees that Iām to employ, Iām not interested. This was my first experience with Jimmy John and it will be my last. This franchise owner should probably have a small class on proper customer service. The music can be enjoyable at a reasonable volume, itās an easy fix. Your employees on the other hand arenāt. I hope to see this location close, maybe Iāll lease the building and give the good people of Oregon the customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk, here it goes. I am 60-years young, lol, and I have had a TON of sandwiches in my life, but NONE as tasty as the one I had today at this location. My intentions were to go to McDonald's across the street, however the drive-thru was crazy full. I look to my right and behold, I see a Jimmy John's, with a drive-thru at that. I moved to Bend a month ago from outta state and there wasn't a Jimmy John's in my town. Always wanted to try their subs. I ordered a regular size #9 Italian Club and was absolutely floored by the taste. This is my definite go to spot, probably for life. A young man named Davis took my order and was extremely polite and professional. While I waited at the window (which was no more than a minute) I saw 3 guys working in sync to produce my insane sandwich. I could smell the baking of the bread with their window closed. After eating 1/2 of my #9, I called their location and spoke with the shift team leader Zane. He very much appreciated listening to my satisfied experience and said he'd pass it on to the crew. I certainly hope the owner as well as others find my review to be helpful when trying to decide where to grab...
