We have eaten here twice. Like others have stated. This is not a Mexican restaurant this is a Peruvian restaurant. Now with that being said and also the fact that I've owned restaurants I consider this restaurant to be subpar. Now I concur with several of the comments made by others such as the entryway leaves a lot to be desired that's your first impression and it wasn't good. Now the presentation of the food is wonderful but the flavoring left something to be desired and I felt the price of the food was about average. But if you're going to run a business you need to take pride in the way that it looks. Because it's the little things that stand out. For example the bar stools have stickers on the legs from a barcode that nobody decided to take off and it just looks tacky. The bartender was also the same person that seeded you and was also the same person that took your order and then was also the same person that took your money. And that's why we had to stand there and wait for someone to see us because he was more focused on the three friends at the bar. The overall view is that this place just is not that clean in appearance. Here's a little advice from a previous restaurant owner. Clean up your restaurant. Focus on your service and greeting people kindly and cheerfully. When taking their order be a tentative and cheerful instead of just asking what they're having and then setting it down in front of them. And then asking for a tip on the card reader. Use comments like we're so glad that you chose our restaurant today and how can we help you. Treat everyone like you want them to give you a five star rating. In the end if you continue to do what you're doing right now...
Read moreI don’t know where to start !! This establishment deserves more than 5 stars !! First let me give comment on the gentleman who answered the phone and was beyond polite we arrived late around 45 minutes after we ordered (we’re from California and relocating got lost ) long story short the food was hot ! And Delish !! I was amazed how fresh the lettuce was on the fish tacos how crispy the breading was and the black frijoles !! WOW I am impressed considering I am venturing into owning a Authentic Mexican Restaurant bringing my food from my California kitchen to your plates in bend Oregon but I can say this place is definitely not competition if anything I hope we become amazing neighbors in the food industry because y’all food is OUTSTANDING AND AMAZING !!! Keep up the great work and continue to deliver fresh greatness because I got exactly...

I stick to the Peruvian dishes when I am there, though their Mexican platos look tasty as well. Peruvian dishes seem to have a more earthy tone to them, with more tomatoes and potatoes in the dishes, and a heavier use of aji amarillo than you would find in Mexican cuisine. A not too spicy, somewhat citric-tasting chili, the aji lends a unique spice to it's dishes. I can get deep into the culinary weeds discussing this place. I've heard all the restaurants in their little C. Oregon chain are as exemplary as this one.
One small complaint I've heard from some, are the noise levels can be a bit overwhelming. This seems to be an issue with a lot of restaurants these days. Baffles and hanging tapestries are not just...
