Fantastic. Sunriver Brewing has become our favorite brewery in Bend over the years and often hit up their Galveston pub for great IPA's and stouts (depending on the time if the year) as well as their excellent pub food. However, the Galveston pub has changed up their menu and it's not as appealing to us now so we checked out their new location on the east side across from St Charles Hospital. The service was friendly, quick, helpful and super nice. Nice outdoor patio and plenty of space inside. Their food menu was fantastic. Their pretzel and beer cheese sauce is the best in Bend. This location has hand tossed pizza's and although we did not try it, their pastrami Stromboli (made with pizza dough) and house made thousand island is one of the best pub foods I've ever had. So good!!! My wife got the Nashville hot chicken and said it was one of the best she's had outside of Tennessee. Great brewery pub and even though it's not downtown Bend, it's...
Read moreThis is not your typical review, it’s from my heart. I visited several times over the two weeks I spent in town caring for my mother, who is in the hospice house. With no car, I walked everywhere and happened to come across this amazing place. The food is outstanding—truly delicious—and the service goes far beyond what you typically find at a restaurant.
Even without knowing what I was going through, the staff treated me with such kindness and warmth. It became a place where I felt welcomed and comforted. What touched me most was when they remembered me and greeted me with a genuine “welcome back.”
The chef’s talent shows in every dish, and the atmosphere felt like a small light during a very difficult time. Thank you, Sunriver Brewing, for being a place of comfort while I navigated the sadness of my...
Read moreThis place is a convenient location close to the hospital. I was celebrating some good news and decided I needed a beer. If you love IPA then they have a lot to choose from. I don’t really and had the pumpkin ale and it was okay. I ordered a salad and the birro sandwich. The salad was like a 3/5. Dressing was good but there was so many toppings on it it kinda overwhelmed the lettuce. The sandwhich was not really to my liking either but my husband enjoyed it. I did order the waygu beef sliders as well as it to everyone rare I don’t enjoy food at places. These were very good. Good crisp meat in a bun and had a bit of sweet to it. The service was amazing as well. Unfortunately the prices of the food were not quite reflective to me but I saw a lot of people who were enjoying themselves in there. Seemed kid...
