Benson Donuts — Restaurant in Benson

My husband and I have been going here for years. We live closer to Sierra Vista but whenever we're in Benson, we make a point to stop in for the Ham & Cheese croissants and a couple of doughnuts. The lady who runs it is always friendly and remembers us. I'm not always a pastry person but the doughnuts here are so light and fluffy and delicious, I never say no to one from Benson Doughnuts. My husband just brought me a ham & cheese croissant about an hour and a half ago, that was baked but intentionally not hot so I could heat it up at work. Bensons very own. Without a doubt Way Better than most. Had an euphoria of Delicious donuts made from scratch couldn't get better prices were great as well. Had good coffee very straight forward and courteous. Got two chocolate long johns three chocolate covered with cream filling. The coffee was bold and rich with flavor. Sugar and cream to personal preference. The donuts were crispy. Light delicate soft dough and you can tell that it is risen overnight bold delicious flavors with butter flavor is rich. Do not go to this donut shop!!! They tried to triple charge me than laugh me out when I didn’t want to pay their up charge to only certain customers. Bad atmosphere, service, and from others on the bus bad food and bad coffee. I came in on the greyhound and she tried to charge me the price of 3 small coffees when I only ordered one small coffee. Than told me in sassy voice you don’t have enough money, I left outta there quick as possible.
