Baking In Wonderland — Restaurant in Bentonville

I had my husband's surprise 50th Birthday party this weekend and needed a cake. A friend had recommended this place and I couldn't be happier. I ordered a 2-tier, 3-layer each, Halloween themed birthday cake (seeing his birthday is really on Halloween.) The top tier was red velvet with cream cheese and the bottom was triple chocolate with chocolate buttercream. I gave them an inspirational picture and they nailed it!

While I can't eat the cake myself (egg allergy), ALL the guests raved about the cake, how moist it was, and how delicious! Everyone even took some home with them so they could enjoy it later.

Because this place is normally closed on Saturday, the owner went out of her way to meet me there anyway so I could have the cake in time for the party. Her and her husband even loaded it into my car and secured it so it would still be perfect when I got it home. Such wonderful customer service.

I am not one to leave reviews usually but I feel the need to. I ordered my son’s birthday cake and guest cake from here and while I was over the moon about them accommodating my request of dye free icing I was very disappointed in the cake itself. Hardly anyone ate the cake and we ended up throwing most of it away. The cakes were made on time however they did not put the name and symbol I requested on it until it was brought back and while they did it quickly I do not feel like it looked professional. When you pay these prices for cakes you expect something better than the typical Walmart cake and I feel like this wasn’t even on par with that. I hate not being able to leave a great review but I don’t want someone else to possibly have a bad cake for a birthday party either. I’m hoping they just...

This place was one of my favorite spots for a quick bite. The owner is an amazing woman who I had a great conversation with her and her husband one day around the time they closed.

I love their scones and other baked goods. Their Nutella spiral pastry (not sure if that's the correct name) was so good. Their breakfast burritos and side salsa are soooo delicious. Not just that but they keep a cooler full of cold drinks. Perfect place for breakfast, lunch, or a late lunch.

Very close to town, too, easy to get to. The service is extremely fast. I am talking in and out within a few minutes, unless you choose to sit down and eat.

I miss this place as I have moved away. Please give them all the business...
