Cronuts donuts — Restaurant in Bentonville

Fabulous selection of breakfast foods with some fun, atypical options! The kolaches were great. They have egg, sausage/bacon and then a sausage + bacon pig in a blanket. Both were great! The dough was really good! We also had to try a few different fritters. They have apple, apple and banana, and apple and blueberry (my favorite) and then an almond creme fritter-like donut that was very decadent! The glaze was very firm and not sticky, tasted great but didn't make a huge mess of your hands, which matters when you've got kids. Then of course a selection of cronuts, regular donuts, cake donuts, and filled donuts.

There is a great selection of coffees (iced and hot- I got an almond mocha) and smoothies as well.

Alright, let’s talk. It doesn’t get more important than a good local donut place. So let’s break this thing down:

Staff are so kind and helpful. One of my (many) test purchases was a dozen assorted donut holes. The bag had at least 16 delicious dough bombs.

Their selection is immense, though I did my best to get a fair sampling. They have, bar none, they best old fashioned in Bentonville. Their cake donut base is solid, as well as their raised.

Then… oh then… there is the namesake. The Cronut. Flakey, soft, and layered with icing. It is a masterpiece and my new favorite sweet fusion treat.

We recently tried this shop since moving super close to it and all of the times we went, the prices were super cheap, and staff were very kind and gave us free items to try. The donuts are super yummy but their biscuit sandwich is DELICIOUS and fresh. The menu also has a wide variety of different items so there will be something for everyone.
