Unfortunately, my experience with Charminar Kabob & Curry was a letdown. The Chicken Masala I ordered was inedible due to its strong, unpleasant odor and unappetizing taste. The flavors seemed unbalanced, and the dish lacked freshness. Given the truck's potential, it's disappointing to see such a subpar offering. I have been here a few times for dinner and I must say it has been a wonderful experience. I am traveling here for work from the east coast and I was very excited to find a spot that serves Zabiha Halal meat. The owners and workers of the truck are extremely kind and welcoming… and their food is amazing. I’ve had multiple things but I really enjoyed the Haleem as well as the Tawa Chicken. The day after the tornado, these guys were in their truck and cooking it up. All smiles and energy when they could have shown doom and gloom because the tree they were parked under shed a massive branch on top of their trailer.

I skipped the menus and asked them to prepare what they would if they had time to eat with me.

To my shock, it wasn’t chicken or mutton or fish— it tasted like some other kind of meat I’ve never had before. This is highly unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food quality and authenticity. I would never recommend this restaurant, as they seem to serve random meat under the label of “Chicken Tawa.”
