Culver’s — Restaurant in Bentonville

It was OK. I'd eat here again, but don't think I'd go out of my way. And, that's what three stars is supposed to mean: competent, but not outstanding.

I'd never been to a Culver's, so when I heard that Andrew Zimmern recommended the place, I was intrigued. To Deluxes (cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, tomato...I think that's it)(one was a double), two sides and two drinks set us back about $26 (that may be the new reality but that's still a lot of money for what we got.

The burgers were good. Buns were fresh, and the veggies were fresh, crunchy, and plentiful (big bonus for this). The patties were kind of thin, smash burger-ish, which was fine, but even on the double, there could've been more, but they seemed to have come right off the grill. I had cheese curds (different) which were good, and the onion rings were OK, but nothing notable.

As far as experience goes though, the place was impeccably clean, and I had a nice conversation with the guy at the counter who had some recommendations for my first visit, which I asked for (he's the one who recommended the cheese curds). It was probably the most comfortable, tidy, and squared away fast food joint I'd ever been in.

Anyway, these guys are worth a try. Perhaps it will hit the bullseye for you. I might be talking myself into giving them another star, since they do some things very well,...

I found out a few months ago I'm allergic to shellfish I get deathly ill ...I ordered cod yesterday much to my surprise my meal had roast beef in it. By the grace of God I was saved. I called and spoke with the manager Damien he said he would fix it and he did he was great so I asked him if the cod and shrimp were cooked in the same vat he said yes so I pointed out that I was allergic to shrimp and I better not get the cod I didn't want to get very sick. Culver's you need to keep the two SEPARATE...if I would have to gotten sick I knew where it came from. Many people with this allergy needs an epi pen or could die and it would be your resturant that is responsible so if you want to wait and get sued go ahead and spin that wheel ...so now I will not be able to eat any seafood from your resturant so corporate needs to change this and believe me I'm letting a lot of people know what's going on...btw your gravy is terrible 🤢 Bentonville...

Food was served fresh, quick, delicious and with a warm smile! Our cashier, Jeff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with our ordering. The kitchen made our order to perfection and in a very timely manner. Our order was delivered to our table promptly. The spicy chicken sandwich absolutely ends the chicken sandwich debate, hands down. (Have it my way: mayo, pickles, thick cut bacon and sliced cheddar yummmm) My daughter loved her cheeseburger and fries and was particularly intrigued by Culver's signature rootbeer. My price said the grilled cheese was 'soo num!' We ended our fantastic experience with their fresh made frozen custard. 😍 my niece couldn't even finish all of her chocolate custard with sprinkles, my daughter nearly picked her bowl clean of her flavor of the day (chocolate and Carmel of some sort with cookie dough I can't remember the name) I...
