The service was good, the employees polite. The quality of the soft serve was not so good. The chocolate ice cream did not look or taste like chocolate. It was only slightly darker than the vanilla. We had our usual peanut butter cup flurry, and the candy did not taste like Resses. We get these enough everywhere to know. Seems like they are using cheaper non Resses brand and it was nasty. It was not blended well with the candy at the top, it looked like it had melted in tablespoon...

This is a must-stop-here kind of place. We weren't sure what we had a taste for, and we loved the food! Great variety of options (not just ice cream) and we were fortunate to stop on a Thursday and enjoy their BBQ Thursday special. If we didn't live in Florida we would end up eating here often. Even enjoyed a lovely conversation with the new owners who said they bought the place in February. Super sweet people and makes the place that much more special....

My family has been going to Dairy King when vacationing at our cottage on Crystal Lake since my parents were children (I believe, but I could be exaggerating) and it's just as classic today as it was when I was a youngster getting Superman Ice Cream all over my face. We went there the last two nights and have been pleasantly rewarded with ridiculously affordable sugary goodness. Never fail...
