Cci Lounge Inc — Restaurant in Benzonia Township

We were told when we arrived that the kitchen was behind, but at no time was it made apparent that it would be a 2 hour wait for our food to arrive. The waiter was very gracious and apologetic, but the wait was beyond reasonable. Our beers were long gone by the time we got our food and one of our party had to leave to take a baby back home. If it hadn't been so late, after 8:30pm, we would have gone elsewhere, but it wasn't an option. They gave us complementary appetizers at the 1.5 hour mark which was too. little too late. Everyone was waiting an extremely long time for their meals, but I can't help but wonder if our order was lost as 2 hours is beyond any normal wait, even when short handed. It's a nice place, but they should. be more transparent about the expected wait time so that others don't end up like we did. They honestly were closing the place down as we ate and our burgers weren't anything exceptional. In fact two of our party ordered burgers that included a special sauce and there was no sauce or dressings on any of the burgers. Very disappointing and I...

Food was pretty standard food you would find at any bar, but the prices are quite a bit higher. Many of the patio chairs were broken but still being used.

Used my Amex to pay and it came back declined. I asked the waitress to try again because I had just used it before we got there. She said she tried 6 times. Maybe they don't accept Amex even though the check presenter was embroidered with American Express on it.
