COGNiTiON Science and Discovery Center — Attraction in Benzonia Township

We absolutely LOVED this place. I wish we lived closer, we would be there weekly. I have 4 boys ages 11, 9, 6 & 3 and everyone of them didn't want to leave even after being there for 4 hours! My husband and I both enjoyed it as much as them. The owner Kim and her mother are exceptional! They were super involved with the kids and were extremely pleasant to talk with. Whether you live in the area or are just visiting, this is a MUST stop on your schedule! I can't wait to go back next year when we are back in the area. Inviting and engaging, the owner is very passionate, friendly, and interactive. I do feel that it is generally geared towards older children, most activities have small pieces, and require a higher level of thinking and stronger motor skills.

My 3.5 year old loved the boat, and my almost 1 year old enjoyed the magnetic gears. It was challenging to keep small, choking-hazard parts away from him because they are everywhere. Older kids could be entertained here for a few hours, mine were good for about 1 hour.

Such a fun place for kids, and the adults enjoyed it too! So many enrichment activities packed into this center. Including animals to handle and feed. It kept a 4 and 6 yo entertained for 4 hours (even longer if they weren’t closing.)
