One thing about me is I’m ALWAYS gonna treat myself to a coffee 🤎 Took myself on a solo brunch date to @Just Love Coffee Berea today! I ordered an iced latte - with toasted marshmallow & cheesecake syrup and a “womelette” - (literally the best) with egg, spinach, feta, onion, basil & peppers. #fyp #justlovecoffeecafe #coffeetiktok #bereaky #kentucky #coffeetime

Just Love Coffee in Berea, Kentucky: Popular eatery and coffee shop on a Saturday morning. Looking for a local breakfast and coffee shop, I landed here around 10 am. Almost all of the breakfast entrees consisted of eggs, bacon or sausage, and cheese while several also included grilled onions and bell peppers. There’s also Avocado Toast, a breakfast burrito and “Womlettes”. I ordered the Feta Spinach Womlette with a side of sour cream, a tasty combo made in a folded unique waffle made with a mostly egg batter. I also picked out a banana muffin to go with a 16 oz cup of the house dark brewed coffee until my entree was ready. The order took over 20+ minutes and I could tell this was a somewhat slammed day but overall I was happy with my order. I had laptop work to do so the wait wasn’t all that bothersome. I was hoping for a few side options ( potatoes would have been good) however only avocado, cheesy eggs, sausage and bacon were listed). Those sides are already on many of the entrees. The coffee was good and hot but for a dark roast, I would have expected it to be just a little bit darker. Refills are free. The noise level was high with the crowd at this time of day but it calmed down by noon. This is a concrete floor with steel chair environment that typically adds to the noise level, especially during the screeching scooting of chairs. Yes, I would return to this eatery. Prices are reasonable.

All of the food my family and I have ordered has been ok. Honestly, the first time in this place was when they opened and at that time I can say I ate one of the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had! We weren’t disappointed at that time. We have went in a few times after they opened and they've been out of some things but we just tried something else. It made it hard to choose from the menu because they don’t have many options. Some of the staff have been great, others have been extremely rude. EDIT: The prices have really went up!! It costs $80 just for 4 people in my family and that included 2 adults and 2 children! For the amount of food you get, we can eat at a nicer restaurant with more food options for that price. 🫤

2nd time visiting this place today. 1st time was poor experience and today after asking for a bacon crossainwich, getting sausage which I hate, driving back, asking for bacon getting sausage again which I said 2x over speaker and to the cashiers face that I hate sausage, got a 2nd sausage crossainwhich going back through I just said ok this little 15 minute break is turning into an hour break with no food. Had to count it as my lunch break and now I'm going to be hungry all day cause this sub par place can't get it right and understand plain English. Of someone saying 2x both times over the speaker and to their face. I'm not a Karen nor a 40 year old unhappy in a midlife crisis. Just a hungry person who tried a place for a 2nd time today and was let down yet again. I probably jacked my car up getting out of your driveway with huge chug hole. So I think it's safe to say I will not be trying this restaurant a third time. I am a very understanding person but this was a trash customer service and in general trash food and the coffee was the same level as one could find at a gas station and save themselves an extra 3$. It should not take a person several trips back, 5x of people both over speaker and at the drive through window, an hour wasted of my time to come up shorthanded with no food and if the money doesn't get posted back to my account I will dispute the charges with my bank as it hasn't been put on there as of yet. This place is ran with young inexperienced staff with non listening ears and shoddy customer service. They need hospitality training and pay...

First off, the food is always wonderful. We’ve been going to this cafe consistently for about a year in TN and learned this location would be opening up close to where we live currently in KY. I had to write a review in hopes of the service getting better as we do love just love! However, order entry at the register was extremely slow and I get it, everyone is new but this was like the person had never seen their POS system before and never once had previously been trained. Then, I ordered 1 burrito with bacon instead of sausage and 1 taco with bacon. Everything we ordered came with sausage, it was like they were out of bacon and instead of mentioning that to the customer they just put in sausage. Also, I know the order was correct because you can see what they’re entering as they enter your order. Lastly, I ordered an iced mocha and it was actually served in a hot cup where a hot beverage would go. I’ve been ordering iced beverages for a long time and it’s the first time I ever received it in a hot cup without a clear plastic cup and a straw. Oh, and actually we love their jalapeño mayo, and we were sadly disappointed that this location didn’t offer it even though it allowed them to ring it up...
