Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Berkeley Heights

Be careful picking up your order. I never have had an issue with Domino's before today. I picked up my order and had chosen the option to pay at the store. I paid cash. Over an hour after I got home I received a phone call from the store saying I didn't pay and I needed to give my credit card info over the phone. I refused because I paid cash. The man who called me kept saying the same thing over and over which made zero sense because I DIDN'T OWE ANYTHING! It was as if he literally had no idea what I was saying. It was back and forth both of us saying the same thing and getting nowhere. Finally once I was obviously irritated, I demanded he either count the cash drawer to see in fact it would be over about $20, or watch the video footage of me paying cash.... he finally said, "nevermind" and was going to hang up. I said, "no no hold on..so did you see me handing you cash?" He said, "yes, nevermind." And that was it. No apology after wasting 10 min of my time, calling me 2x and also sending me pictures of the register screen that showed no proof of payment... not sure what the point of that was, because obviously it was his error, not mine. Hopefully this review helps someone avoid going through the same thing. Maybe consider not paying cash at the store, because it seems they don't know how to process a cash...

This happened almost a month ago, but I am still fuming so here we go:

DO NOT ORDER FROM DOMINOS!!! They have extremely rude staff-minus that one kid who's always seemed to feel the heat. I order for carry-out a plain medium pizza and a marbled cookie brownie (I think that's what it's called?) and go to pick it up. I was 2 minutes late according to when the app said it was ready and this one worker who seemed to run it-he had a unique accent too-starts to tell me off on how I should have called for the order because my "labels don't print otherwise" and MIND YOU I WAS STANDING THERE AND MY ORDER WAS ON THE "Make line" SCREEN. As a regular-no longer-I knew that I had always ordered through the app and my food was always ready on time or got delivered within reasonable time. So I explain to him that and what I see, and HE TOLD ME TO REORDER. I AM NOT PAYING A SECOND TIME ON MY CREDIT CARD FOR WHAT YOU FORGOT TO MAKE. That I told him as calmly as any angry customer would be. I showed him the app, my order, and tell him to void my payment. He had a hard time handling that trying to get me to reorder. Eventually, he voided the payment and after showing me that screen, I stormed out of there. DO NOT MAKE THE...

So when one thinks of a five star review, Domino's Pizza is probably not what comes to mind. Most of us know that the best pizza can be found in Italy (or the city depending on who you ask), but I have decided to rate this a little differently. I'll admit, Domino's is not the best pizza ever, but it's the best ever when you're craving pizza super late on a Saturday. Also, when you order from them, you get it pretty quickly (sometimes I get it in 20 minutes.. sometimes 40 - I live about 10 minutes away). Lastly, like I said, it's not the best ever, but it's still pretty tasty and the crust is so good.

So why the five stars? Well, I've always received my pizza in a reasonable amount of time, the food is satisfying and the drivers are nice (btw, tip your driver at least 20%, especially if you're using a coupon). Also, they are the only place after 10 that will deliver and on the weekends they're open until 1. When you're hungry at 11-11:30, I'll bet that you're happy that they're open. I ❤ my...
