Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in Berkeley Township

I was so thrilled to find an alternate bagel shop. I've been here 3 times. First time was great. Our sandwiches were cooked well & although service was a little longer-I happen to know quality food takes time... no need to rush. The second time the pork roll was a little too under cooked for my taste. Today- the 3rd time- was a total flop. Pork roll egg and cheese is not hard to remember... I got almost raw pork roll, no egg at all and cold cheese on a cold bagel. I ordered for someone else, a toasted bagel with a very thin layer of cream cheese. We got a cold bagel not toasted and an inch and a half thick of cream cheese. Needless to say we are disappointed with this Bayville location. I posted a picture of what looks like it could be a whole container of creamcheese that we scraped off of the bagel. I'm not trying to be mean-I am trying to say check your food before you leave this...

My friends and I placed an order to pick up from Manhattan bagel today. While ordering the man who I spoke to repeated the order back to me which I appreciated and everything he said was correct. We picked up the food and brought it back to the house. Every sandwich was completely wrong. Not only were they wrong but they looked inedible. We ended up throwing all of them away and called for a refund. We asked the man we spoke to regarding the refund if we should bring in the sandwiches in prior to us throwing them out. He said no he needed to speak to his boss. His boss gave me a call about an hour later and said he will not give a refund. He said we should’ve brought the sandwiches back even though we were going to and his employee told us not to. All in all this was my worst experience at a bagel place. Ahhh where do I even start?!! I love this place, best bagels, best coffee, my son loves that they have grape juice, and my whole family doesn’t eat meat so they make special sandwiches with hash browns in it for us! Whenever we call, they know my voice and say the regular ? Just overall amazing people- from the owners to the cook to the cashier- 10 out of 10 across the board! I can’t talk enough nice stuff about this place and the people at the establishment- anyone who has anything negative to say, you either are a negative person, or just for minute did you stop to think that are people too ? - and if it was about the food, give them a second chance? or why didn’t you bring it back?
